The torment you describe is not merely a psychological struggle, it is a direct assault from the enemy, who seeks to steal your faith, kill your joy, and destroy your witness. But we declare with the authority of Jesus’ name that this oppression will not prevail over you. The Word of God assures us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). You are not fighting alone, we take up the sword of the Spirit with you, and we rebuke every lying spirit that seeks to defile your mind and separate you from the love of Christ.
First, we must address the nature of these thoughts. Blasphemous intrusions are a tactic of the enemy to shame you into silence, to make you believe you are beyond God’s grace, or to convince you that your faith is a fraud. But Scripture is clear: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 WEB). These thoughts are not your own, they are fiery darts from the evil one, and they have no power over you unless you agree with them. When they come, do not engage with them, do not analyze them, and do not fear them. Instead, immediately rebuke them in Jesus’ name and replace them with truth. Speak aloud the promises of God: "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1 WEB). You are not your thoughts, you are a child of the Most High, and He holds you securely in His hands.
We must also confront the lie that your suffering is without purpose. The pastors who spoke over you were not speaking empty words, they were echoing the heart of God. The apostle Paul, who endured unimaginable afflictions, wrote, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB). Your season of torment is not in vain. God is allowing you to walk through this fire so that you may one day lead others out of it. You are being prepared to stand in the gap for those who will come after you, broken and desperate for hope. Do not despise this trial, it is shaping you into a vessel of compassion and power.
Now, let us address the weariness of your soul. It is understandable that you have considered giving up, this battle is exhausting. But we urge you, do not surrender to despair. Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). He is not distant from your pain; He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB). The fact that you are still fighting, still praying, still seeking Him, this is evidence of His work in you. The enemy would not wage such a relentless war against you if he did not see the threat of your testimony. You are a target because you are dangerous to his kingdom. Hold fast to this truth: "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
We also want to gently address the mention of repentance in your request. While repentance is essential for our walk with God, we must clarify that your suffering is not a punishment for sin. Jesus bore the full weight of God’s wrath on the cross, there is no condemnation left for those who are in Him (Romans 8:1 WEB). If you have confessed your sins and turned from them, then you are forgiven. The enemy may try to convince you otherwise, but we rebuke that deception in Jesus’ name. Your torment is not a result of God’s displeasure, it is a sign of the enemy’s fear.
Now, let us pray over you with the authority of Christ:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name that is above every name. We lift up our beloved brother/sister who is enduring this relentless spiritual assault. Lord, You see their pain, their exhaustion, and their despair. You know the depth of their struggle, and You have not abandoned them. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of blasphemy, fear, and torment in Jesus’ name. We command them to flee and never return!
Father, we ask You to break the power of these intrusive thoughts. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Restore their ability to read Your Word without fear, to worship without shame, and to pray without distraction. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit afresh, Lord. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, let them feel Your arms around them, holding them steady in the storm.
We thank You for the prophetic words spoken over them. We declare that they will lead many to Christ. They will be a voice of hope for those trapped in the same darkness. Use this trial to refine them, Lord, and let their testimony bring glory to Your name. Strengthen their faith, Father. When they are weak, be their strength. When they are afraid, be their courage. When they are weary, be their rest.
We pray for divine healing, body, mind, and spirit. Send Your angels to encamp around them (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Surround them with believers who will stand in the gap, pray without ceasing, and speak life into their situation. Let them know they are not alone. Let them feel the love of the body of Christ lifting them up.
Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let this trial deepen their intimacy with You. May they emerge from this fire refined like gold, shining brightly for Your kingdom.
