Father, we thank You for being an ever-present help in times of trouble, Ps 46:1-2. We ask for Your love, joy and peace of the hearts of believers in the ### area of our northernmost state by The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23. We pray for the youth and elderly, that they may be comforted on this Thanksgiving Day of remembrance. We submit to You and then ask You overrule the wicked serpent of old who loves to prey upon the vulnerable as a vulture seeks the weak, as we resist the devil firm in the faith. Please be with our first responders who no doubt must needs place duty before their own desires, and ask me may emulate such service in our duties of prayer, thanksgiving, worship, study, service and evangelism. We ask for all in authority, 1 Tim 2:2-3, to be clear and sober minded, give direction as necessity requires, and for any injured or worse. We always leave with our prayers in the manner we approach them, with thanksgiving, Phil 4:6-7, for things could always be worse, (The whole of the Old Testament Prophets and Revelation), since the whole of creation groans and travails as You subjected it to futility in hope, Rom 8:20, that we might grope for You and find You, Acts 17:27, and we are on borrowed time until the fullness of the unbelieving world has heard and come in, Rom 11:25, Rev 6:11. We ask many come to repentance, 2 Peter 2:9, and all come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Raise up laborers for the harvest, Luke 10:2, and let us preach The Word being ready in season and out of season, 2 Tim 4:2, endure hardship and do the work of an evangelist, 2 Tim 4:5, and keep ourselves pure, 1 Jn 3:3, Rev 19:7, as we look forward to and hasten the day of Your Son's appearing, 2 Peter 3:12, through Jesus Christ our Head, Col 1:8, our merciful, sympathetic, sinless and approachable High Priest, Heb 4:15-16, and Intercessor, Heb 7:25, who prays as He did for the disciple who thrice denied Him, Luke 22:32, then thrice restored His confession of love, and reasserted his duty to feed and shepherd Your sheep, John 21:15-16, 17, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, we agree, Matt 18:19, so we have these petitions we have asked of You, Mk 11:24, 1 Jn 5:14-15, Amen, 1 Cor 2:14.
