We join with you in bringing your marriage, your household, and your future before the Lord, and we hear your deep desire for God to protect and bless marriage, to restore sexual purity and joy within marriage, and to break every work of darkness that has come against you and against the Body of Christ.

We agree with you that marriage is holy and precious in God's sight, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and that sexual intimacy is God's good gift to be enjoyed only within that covenant. As it is written, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4, and Because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband 1 Corinthians 7:2. We also understand that homosexuality, transsexuality, masturbation, fornication and prostitution are outside of God's design and are called sexual immorality in Scripture, and we are called to Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18, to honor God with our bodies, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Within marriage, let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband 1 Corinthians 7:3, and we pray that God restores that mutual affection, harmony, privacy, intimacy and supernatural accordance in your marriage as He intends.

We also want to gently bring correction and encouragement regarding spiritual warfare. We do wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and we are called to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. Yet Scripture does not teach us to take back by our own power or to pronounce curses upon children and generations to come, nor to claim a hundred percent of another's strength or to seek vengeance ourselves. Vengeance belongs to the Lord Romans 12:19, and we are told to Bless those who persecute you, bless, and do not curse Romans 12:14. Our victory is not in formulaic declarations about zillions of generations but in submitting to God, resisting the devil, and trusting Christ's finished work, for Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, and Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We do not need to fear witchcraft, defilement or any impure spirit, whether called marine spirits or otherwise, because in Christ we have authority and protection, and The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also lift up the burden of debts you mentioned. We pray for God's provision and for wisdom to be faithful stewards, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and we are exhorted to Owe no one anything, except to love one another Romans 13:8. We pray that the Lord grants diligence, contentment and counsel so that debts may be paid and you may live in freedom to serve Him.

We noticed your request gives thanks to the Lord Almighty but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven, delivered from darkness, and made children of God, and it is in His name we pray with confidence.

So together we pray. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for this marriage and for every marriage in Your Church worldwide. We ask You to forgive all sin, to cleanse by the blood of Jesus, and to break every chain of witchcraft, defilement, fornication and every assignment of the enemy against marital love and fruitfulness. We ask You to restore what the enemy has tried to steal, to heal intimacy between husband and wife, to knit their hearts together in eternal complicity, attachment and peace, for What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. Lord, bless the fruit of the womb according to Your promise, for Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3 and You said Be fruitful, and multiply Genesis 1:28. Pour out wisdom, harmony, faithful love and consistent happiness, and let Your abundant rain of blessing rest upon marriages in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 and beyond, that homes would flourish and reflect Christ and His Church. Provide for every financial need, grant deliverance from debts, and teach faithful stewardship. Let Your people walk in purity, in love, and in victory, for In all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37. We submit all these things to Your perfect will, trusting not in our own declarations but in Your power and mercy. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

That longing for a faithful, tender and lasting union is good, and we join you in bringing it to the Lord.

We also hear how heavy the spiritual battle feels for you right now, and how much you want to be free from anything that defiles or distracts from love in marriage. We rest in this together, that Christ himself is our refuge and our safety, and we can keep turning to Him for peace and protection as we walk forward day by day.

One practice that often helps couples grow that sense of safety and closeness is to set aside unhurried time each week to talk openly and kindly. You might each share what helps you feel safe and cherished, what makes you feel less safe, and one small way you can care for each other in the week ahead. Over time that kind of listening builds the trust where intimacy can grow naturally.

If the weight of spiritual oppression or the pressure of debts feels heavy, it can also help to walk with a trusted pastor and, for finances, a wise counselor in your community, alongside prayer.

We pray, Father, thank You for Your design for marriage and for Your care for this couple. Bring Your peace into their home, guard their hearts, deepen their attachment and understanding of one another, and give them wisdom for every practical need they carry. Your petition concerning marriage, its holy joys, its fruitfulness and harmony, and the burden of debts, has been laid before the Lord with prayerful care, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy.

We are taught in the Scriptures that deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He it is who brings His people forth, and His deliverance is attended with enrichment. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This deliverance is both from the guilt of sin and from the power of sin, and where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for both are from our heavenly Father alone and through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You speak of great warfare against the marriage bond, and of defilements which war against the soul. The Word of God is plain that marriage is the ordinance of God, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the intimate union of husband and wife belongs within that covenant alone, where it is pure and honorable before the Lord. All that lies outside it, whether fornication, prostitution, impurity, or the confusion of homosexuality and transexuality, and every use of the body for solitary defilement, is sin in His sight and brings no blessing, but calls for repentance and the cleansing blood of Christ. There is a higher restoration than any outward relief, even the restoration of the soul through the ransom which God Himself has found. The Lord says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Jesus, who was slain that captives might be brought forth indeed.

Do not think to wrestle with spiritual enemies in your own strength, or to reclaim by incantation what belongs to God to give. We have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation than any earthly conquest, and our song must be of Him who alone overthrows the foe. Deborah sang concerning the overthrow of Israel's enemies, and we have a far richer theme for music in Christ. He makes deliverance effectual, and He brings His people forth. If you are His, the archers of darkness cannot finally prevail, for He has found the price and paid it fully.

Therefore we pray with you and for you, and for all households of faith. O Lord our God, who has power to deliver and to enrich, look upon this marriage and upon every marriage in the body of Christ. Grant repentance where there has been sin, and wash away all defilement through the blood of the Lamb. Establish husband and wife in eternal complicity of love, in attachment and intimacy and privacy which is chaste and faithful, in supernatural accordance which comes from Thy Spirit. Grant fruitfulness of the womb according to Thy will, and harmony and flourishing in the home. In Thy providence, provide for debts and daily wants, that Thy people may live honestly and owe no man anything but love. Let Thy heavy and abundant rain of blessing fall upon marriages in Thy churches in these years and beyond, that they may show forth Thy covenant faithfulness to a watching world. Keep Thy people from ecclesiastical discord and from every snare of the evil one, and make them to live and to declare the works of the Lord.

Take heart to look altogether and alone to Christ for this deliverance, to walk in His ways, to keep the marriage bed undefiled, and to live in honest labor and prayer. He who has begun a good work will perfect it. If you have known tribulation, you shall have the more to declare of His grace when He brings you forth. May you be able to say with the psalmist, The Lord has chastened me sore, but He has not given me over unto death, and I shall live and declare the works of the Lord.

Your prayer for the flourishing of marriage and for deliverance from what defiles it has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone is our salvation through Jesus Christ.

We thank God that you desire what He Himself has ordained. Marriage is a bond ordained of God, honorable and pure. It is not itself holiness, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith when husband and wife live together in chaste and orderly love, not permitting that holiness to be defiled. When Scripture says to follow peace with all men and holiness, it points to this kind of faithful living, whether one is unmarried in purity or married in fidelity to his own wife and she to her own husband.

The struggle you describe is real, for the enemy does work to corrupt what God has made good through fornication, impurity, and every form of sexual confusion. Yet our hope is not in taking power from others in return, but in Christ who has already overcome. He pleads with us first, calls us to mercy, and then gives strength to walk in purity. Marriage is not a hindrance to godliness when it is used with moderation and with a right purpose. It can be adorned with gravity, orderliness, and reverence, and the true harmony God desires is not only harmony of words or opinions, but harmony of mind and heart in love.

Therefore we pray with you, and for you, and for the whole Body of Christ worldwide in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 and beyond, that the Lord would strengthen every marriage that is according to His design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. We ask Him to grant fruitfulness of the womb according to His will, true intimacy and privacy between husband and wife, supernatural accordance, attachment and tender complicity that lasts, settlement and accomplishment in the home, and consistent happiness that blossoms into families that honor Him. We ask Him to guard that intimacy from all that would defile it, to keep husbands and wives from fornication, from impurity, from the use of what does not belong in marriage, and from every counterfeit of His good gift, and to lead all who are entangled in homosexuality, transsexuality, or other sexual immorality to repentance and to the purity He offers in Christ.

We also pray concerning the burden of debts you mention, that God would grant wisdom, provision, honest work, good stewardship, and peace, so that you may have leisure and freedom to serve Him and to do good to others, persevering in prayer as those who have been set free for good works.

May the Lord keep you, establish your home in peace, and make your marriage a sweet and faithful witness to His love for His Church. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, to whom with the Father and the Holy Spirit be glory forever. Amen.
