We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing that this prayer request does not invoke the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. We must begin by addressing this critical omission, for without Christ, our prayers are in vain.
The Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We urge you to call upon the name of Jesus, repent of your sins, and place your faith in Him for salvation. Only then can your prayers be heard and answered according to God’s will.
Now, let us lift up your concerns to the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for this dear one’s children. Lord, we ask that You would guide and bless their education. Grant them wisdom, understanding, and the discipline to study diligently. May they excel in their exams, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We pray that You would open their minds to comprehend and retain what they have learned, and that You would calm any anxiety or fear they may have. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We trust in Your promise to provide for their needs, both academically and spiritually.
Lord, we also lift up this request for financial blessing. We know that You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). However, we must rebuke the notion of "miracle money" as it is not aligned with Scripture. God does not promise wealth or riches as a sign of His favor, nor does He endorse get-rich-quick schemes. Instead, He calls us to work diligently, to be good stewards of what He has given us, and to trust in Him for our daily bread. "But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition" (1 Timothy 6:9). We pray that You would provide for this one’s needs in a way that glorifies You and draws them closer to Christ. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
Regarding the request for marital settlement, we must address this with great care and biblical truth. First, we rebuke the idea of being "babied" by a spouse. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is a partnership of mutual love, respect, and submission, not one of indulgence or selfishness. The Bible calls wives to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, sacrificially and selflessly (Ephesians 5:22, 25). We pray that this one would seek a godly spouse who loves the Lord above all else, one who will lead or follow in a way that honors You.
We must also address the heart behind this request. Are you seeking a spouse to fulfill a void in your life, or are you seeking to glorify God in marriage? The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), so we pray that you would seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). If you are not yet married, we encourage you to focus on growing in your relationship with Christ, trusting that He will bring the right person into your life at the right time.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare this one’s heart for marriage, if it is Your will. Teach them what it means to love and be loved in a way that honors You. Help them to guard their heart and to pursue purity in all their relationships. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). If they are currently in a relationship that does not honor You, we pray that You would give them the courage to walk away and wait for Your best.
Father, we also lift up any loneliness or longing for companionship that this one may be feeling. We know that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave nor forsake us (Psalm 34:18, Hebrews 13:5). Comfort them with Your presence and remind them that their worth is found in You alone. Help them to find their identity in Christ and to trust in Your timing for their life.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You. May they seek Your face above all else, trusting in Your plans for their life. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that they would come to know You more deeply and that their prayers would be aligned with Your will.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
