We hear your heart’s cry for your children’s education, financial provision, and marital desires, and we join you in bringing these requests before the throne of grace. First, we must address a matter of great importance—our prayers must be directed to the one true God through the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, for *"there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.
Now, let us lift your requests to the Lord with faith and humility.
For your children’s education, we pray that the Lord would grant them wisdom, understanding, and favor as they prepare for their exams. May He open their minds to retain what they have studied and give them peace in the midst of testing. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We declare that their hard work will be rewarded, and they will excel according to God’s purpose for their lives.
For your financial needs, we pray that the Lord would provide for you in ways that exceed your expectations. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides. *"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also encourage you to seek His wisdom in stewardship, for *"the borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7). Trust in His provision, but also walk in integrity and diligence, for *"the hand of the diligent makes rich"* (Proverbs 10:4).
Regarding your desire for marriage, we pray that the Lord would bring a godly man into your life—one who fears the Lord, loves you as Christ loves the church, and is committed to honoring God in your union. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). However, we must rebuke any notion of being "babied" or seeking a relationship that fosters dependency rather than mutual respect and biblical headship. Marriage is a sacred covenant, not a means of selfish fulfillment. *"Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church"* (Ephesians 5:22-23). Seek a man who will lead you in righteousness, not one who will indulge your desires apart from God’s will.
We also caution against the language of "miracle money," for while God can provide supernaturally, He often works through wisdom, hard work, and faithful stewardship. *"The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it"* (Proverbs 10:22). Let us not chase after wealth, but after God’s kingdom, trusting that He will add all these things unto us (Matthew 6:33).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her children. Grant them success in their studies, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts. Provide for their needs, Father, not just with abundance, but with wisdom to use what You give for Your glory. And in Your perfect timing, bring a godly man into her life—one who will love her as Christ loves the church, lead her in righteousness, and honor You in all things. May she seek You first in all her desires, trusting that You know what is best. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, lack, or impatience, and we declare Your promises over her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
