We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your marriage and your heart’s cry for restoration. It is clear you are seeking God’s intervention in your marriage, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is impossible with Him. The Scriptures remind us that what God has joined together, no man—or third party—should separate. *"Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."* (Mark 10:9, WEB). Your marriage is a covenant before God, and He is faithful to honor those who seek Him with a repentant and steadfast heart.
Yet, we must also address something critical: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. Without Christ, our prayers are empty, and our efforts are in vain. But in Him, we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, knowing He hears and answers.
Now, let us pray for your marriage. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy seeking to destroy what God has ordained. The presence of third parties—especially other women—is an attack on the sacred bond of marriage, and we declare in the name of Jesus that these influences be broken and removed. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh.* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Your husband’s heart must be turned back to you and to the Lord. We pray that God would convict him of any sin, including adultery or emotional infidelity, and that he would repent and return to his covenant with you and with God. *"Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin."* (Ezekiel 18:30, WEB).
We also lift up your request for your husband’s new accommodation in college. May the Lord provide favor and open doors that no man can shut. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). Trust that God is working even in these details for your good and His glory.
For your health and the blessing of a forever-successful marriage, we declare God’s promises over you. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* (3 John 1:2, WEB). A marriage that honors God is built on love, forgiveness, and mutual submission to Christ. *"Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. ... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her."* (Ephesians 5:22, 25, WEB). We pray that both you and your husband would seek to live out these truths, putting Christ at the center of your union.
Finally, we encourage you to examine your own heart. Have you forgiven your husband for any wrongs? Are you praying for him with love and humility, rather than bitterness? *"Putting away all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envies, and all evil speaking, as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow."* (1 Peter 2:1-2, WEB). God calls us to love even when it is difficult, trusting that He is the one who changes hearts.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, You hate divorce, and You are a God of restoration. We ask that You would heal and restore this marriage, breaking every chain of infidelity, temptation, and division. Remove every third party that seeks to destroy what You have joined together. Convict her husband of any sin, and draw him back to You and to his wife with a repentant heart. Father, provide for their needs, including the new accommodation for her husband, and grant them both good health and prosperity.
Lord, we pray that You would strengthen this sister’s faith and fill her with Your peace. Help her to forgive, to love, and to trust in Your timing. May their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and power. Bind them together in unity, and let their home be a place where Your presence dwells.
We rebuke the enemy’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy this marriage. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that this union is protected, preserved, and prosperous for Your glory. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in You alone.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
