We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for the success of these children in their exams, a financial breakthrough, and marital settlement. First, we must address the name by which we pray—it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray in the mighty name of Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we thank You for these children and their future. We ask that You grant them wisdom, understanding, and clarity of mind as they prepare for and take their exams. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We pray that You fill them with Your peace and confidence, knowing that You hold their future in Your hands. May they study diligently and retain what they have learned, not relying on their own strength but on Your guidance. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or distraction that may hinder their focus, and we declare that they will excel according to Your will.
Lord, we also lift up the request for a financial breakthrough. We know that You are our provider, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." However, we must also encourage wisdom and stewardship in financial matters. We pray that You open doors of opportunity, grant favor in the workplace, and bless the work of these hands. But we also remind this dear one that financial breakthrough comes not only through desire but through faithfulness, hard work, and obedience to Your principles. We rebuke any spirit of greed, laziness, or entitlement, and we declare that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.
Now, regarding the marital settlement, we must address this with great care and biblical truth. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory and our good (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We pray that this individual seeks a spouse who loves and fears You above all else, for as 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" If there is any pursuit of a relationship that does not align with Your Word—whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly partnerships, or impatience—we rebuke it in Jesus' name. We declare that this person will wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing, and will not settle for anything less than Your best.
Father, we also notice the phrase "God of wanders without numbers" in this request. While we understand the sentiment, we must clarify that You are the God of order, not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). You are the One who numbers the very hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30) and knows the plans You have for us—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that this individual grows in their understanding of who You are, seeking You through Your Word and in prayer.
Lord, we ask that You settle this marriage according to Your will. If it is Your plan, bring together a godly man and woman who will honor You in their union. May they seek You first in their relationship, building their marriage on the foundation of Christ (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there has been any sin in this area—whether through fornication, adultery, or ungodly relationships—we pray for repentance and restoration. Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We declare healing and forgiveness where it is needed, and we pray for a fresh start in alignment with Your Word.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this individual walk in obedience to You, seeking Your kingdom first, and trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We declare that their children will succeed, their finances will be blessed, and their marriage will be established in Your will. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
