We come before the Lord with a humble and contrite heart, lifting up this request for purification of vision and clarity of sight. Father, we know that the eyes are the lamp of the body, and when our vision is clear, our whole body is full of light. But when it is dark, how great is that darkness! (Matthew 6:22-23). We ask that You would purify the motives and intentions of this dear one’s heart, for You examine our hearts and test our motives (Proverbs 17:3).
Lord, we pray that You would remove any distortion or impurity in their spiritual sight. Help them to see as You see, with wisdom, discernment, and a heart aligned with Your will. "Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of Your law" (Psalm 119:18). We rebuke any deception, confusion, or selfish ambition that may cloud their judgment, for the enemy seeks to blind the minds of those who do not believe (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we stand firm in the truth that Jesus Christ has come to give sight to the blind and to set the captives free (Luke 4:18).
Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and wisdom. Let them walk in the light of Your Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). May they seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, You will direct their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that their motives would be pure, their heart sincere, and their vision clear—fixed on You alone.
Lord, if there is any area of their life where they are not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it. Help them to lay down their own desires and submit to Your perfect will. "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). May they walk in the fullness of Your truth, free from the distractions of this world, and fully devoted to Your purposes.
We declare that their vision will be purified, their heart will be aligned with Yours, and their steps will be ordered by Your Spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
