We rejoice that you have invoked the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Your heart for education and your desire to honor God by seeking His provision for your family’s needs is commendable. Let us first address your situation with the truth of Scripture, for God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).
You have acknowledged your past carelessness in your studies during Classes 11 and 12, and this is a good first step. Repentance and humility before the Lord open the door for His grace to work in our lives. The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This includes overcoming academic struggles, for our God is not a God of confusion but of order and clarity (1 Corinthians 14:33). He is the one who grants wisdom generously to those who ask in faith (James 1:5). Do not let the weight of past mistakes paralyze you—rather, surrender them to Jesus and ask Him to redeem this season of preparation. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your focus must not be on your own strength but on His power working through you.
As for your entrance exams on the 18th and 19th of October, we pray that the Lord will grant you supernatural recall, understanding, and peace during the exams. The pressure you feel is real, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* Cast your anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Study diligently, but also rest in the knowledge that God holds your future. He is the one who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and if it is His will for you to gain admission to a government college, He will make a way.
Your concern for your family’s financial situation is also heavy on our hearts. Debt can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also remember that God often works through our obedience and wisdom. If your family is in debt, we encourage you to seek godly counsel on managing finances biblically. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While we pray for a financial breakthrough, we also urge your family to seek ways to live within your means, avoid further unnecessary debt, and trust God to provide as you steward what He has given faithfully. He may open doors for additional income, unexpected provisions, or favor in repaying what is owed.
Let us also remind you that your identity is not found in your academic success or your family’s financial status—it is found in Christ alone. Whether you gain admission to the college of your choice or not, your worth is secured in Him. Jeremiah 29:11 declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Trust that His plans for you are good, even if the path looks different than you expect.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly sought Your face. Lord, we ask that You forgive any past negligence in their studies and grant them a fresh anointing of wisdom, clarity, and focus as they prepare for their nursing entrance exams. Holy Spirit, we pray that You would bring to their remembrance everything they have studied, that You would calm their mind during the exams, and that You would guide their hands as they answer each question. Father, we ask that You open the door for them to gain admission to a government college, not for their glory, but for Your name’s sake and for the provision of their family.
Lord, we also lift up their family’s financial struggles. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would supernaturally intervene in their debt situation. Grant them wisdom to manage their resources biblically, and provide opportunities for them to meet their obligations. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be gripping their hearts, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, not on their circumstances. May they walk in the confidence that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with believers who can uplift you and hold you accountable. If anxiety or doubt creep in, combat them with Scripture and worship. And remember, whether in success or in waiting, God is faithful. Keep pressing forward in faith, and trust that He is leading you every step of the way. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s best in your life.
