Students that are out for a long time

We lift up these students who have been absent from school for an extended period, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts, seeking His intervention. It is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We know that education is a gift from God, and consistent attendance is important for their growth and future. However, we also recognize that there may be deeper struggles, unseen challenges, or even spiritual battles at play in their lives.
Father, we ask that You would draw near to these young ones. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the importance of their education and the opportunities You have placed before them. If there are fears, anxieties, or distractions keeping them away, we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. If there is rebellion, laziness, or sin in their hearts, we ask that You convict them gently but firmly, leading them to repentance. If they are facing hardship, illness, or difficult circumstances at home, we ask for Your provision, healing, and comfort to surround them.
Lord, we also pray for their families. If there is dysfunction, neglect, or lack of guidance, we ask that You would intervene and bring godly influences into their lives—teachers, mentors, pastors, or friends who can speak truth and encouragement into their situations. Give their parents or guardians wisdom and strength to guide them back to the path of discipline and responsibility.
We declare over these students that they are not forgotten, nor are they beyond Your reach. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We speak hope and restoration over their lives. May they return to school with renewed purpose, diligence, and joy in learning.
We also take a moment to address the spiritual foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made righteous. If these students do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" May they come to know the love, grace, and salvation that is found in Christ alone.
We stand in the gap for these young lives, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Restore what has been lost, heal what has been broken, and guide them back to the path You have set before them. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for those students who've been absent for a while. It's tough to see them miss out on learning and growing. We're asking God to touch their hearts, to help them understand the value of education and the opportunities He's given them. If there's fear, anxiety, or anything keeping them away, we're asking God to comfort them and guide them back. We're also praying for their families, that they'd have wisdom and strength to guide their children. We believe God has a plan for each of these kids, and we're declaring that over their lives. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for these students who have been away from school for an extended time. It has been on our hearts to lift up each of them—especially those you mentioned—asking the Lord to draw them back to a place of safety, learning, and community. We have prayed for their well-being, their families, and the circumstances that may be keeping them away, asking God to intervene with His love and provision.
If the Lord has moved in this situation and these students have returned or are in a better place, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice together. If they are still away and the need remains, please share this request again so we can continue to intercede on their behalf. We believe in the power of persistent prayer and trust that God is working even when we cannot see it.
