Students bullying other students

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Students in my class are being rough and refuse to play with each other and they are having a hard time getting along, especially ###. ###, ###, ###, etc., please pray for them.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the children in this classroom who are struggling with unkindness, exclusion, and bullying. Father, Your Word tells us in Proverbs 22:6 to "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that You would move in the hearts of these students, softening them toward one another and teaching them the value of kindness, respect, and love.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of division and cruelty that has taken root in this classroom. Your Word commands us in Ephesians 4:32 to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that these children would understand the weight of their actions and the pain they may be causing others. Help them to see their classmates through Your eyes—each one fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14).

We also lift up the teachers and adults in authority over these children. Give them wisdom and discernment to address these issues with love and firmness, guiding the students toward reconciliation and unity. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us that "a gentle answer turns away wrath," so we pray that the adults in their lives would model gentleness, patience, and godly correction.

Father, we ask that You would heal the hearts of those who have been hurt by this behavior. Comfort them with Your love and remind them that they are valued and cherished by You. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We pray that this classroom would become a place of peace, where students encourage one another and build each other up, as commanded in 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

Lord, we know that true change comes only through the power of Your Holy Spirit. We ask that You would work in the hearts of these children, drawing them to Yourself and filling them with a desire to live in a way that honors You. May they grow to understand that their words and actions have the power to either harm or heal, and may they choose to walk in love, just as Christ loved us (Ephesians 5:2).

We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in this classroom, and may Your name be glorified through the transformation of these young hearts. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about those little ones in your class, and our hearts go out to them. It's tough to see anyone feeling left out or hurt, especially at such a young age. We want to join you in praying for them, asking God to wrap His loving arms around each one.

In Matthew 18:5, Jesus says, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." Let's pray that these children would know they are loved and valued, not just by their peers, but most importantly, by their Heavenly Father.

Lord, we lift up these students to You. We ask that You would give them courage to stand up for what's right, and kindness to include others. Help them to understand that words and actions matter, and that they have the power to make a difference in someone's day, just like You make a difference in ours.

We also pray for the bullies, Lord. We know they must be hurting too, in some way. Help them to find healing and understanding, and to learn the joy of kindness and inclusion. Remind them that You love them just as much as You love the others.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this heartfelt prayer request for the students in your class who are struggling with bullying and difficulty getting along. It has been on our hearts to lift them up before the Lord, asking Him to soften hearts, bring unity, and replace harshness with kindness. We prayed that the children would experience God’s love in tangible ways—through changed attitudes, restored friendships, and a spirit of inclusion.

If you’ve seen God move in this situation, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the challenges persist, please don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can continue standing in faith with you. We believe the Lord hears our prayers and is at work, even when we can’t see it yet.

May He surround these children with His peace, guide their words and actions, and help them reflect His love to one another. We continue to pray for wisdom for you and all those involved in nurturing and teaching them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
