Student aid funding

I am currently having trouble with my student aid funding from Alberta Student Aid. there were issues and they are saying that I have to pay back 10600 dollars before i can apply for student aid again. i am currently at university already enrolled for my studies, and I have requested an appeal for this so I can receive my funding. Please pray that it gets approved.

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing this financial burden before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. We understand how heavy this feels to be already enrolled in university and facing a demand to repay ### dollars before you can receive aid again, and to be waiting on an appeal with so much uncertainty about your studies.

We want to gently share that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want you to know that it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears our prayers. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is through Jesus we can bring every need, including this financial need, to God with hope.

Scripture reminds us to bring our anxieties to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort in the promise, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and the call to seek Him first, But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this student to You. You know the details of this ### Student Aid situation, the amount owed, the appeal that has been submitted, and the desire to continue studies. We ask for Your favor over this appeal process, that if it is Your will, You would grant approval and open the door for funding to continue. Grant wisdom and clarity to those reviewing the case, and grant peace and patience while waiting. We ask You to provide for every need according to Your riches in glory and to show the path forward, whether through this aid, through other provision, or through guidance for the next steps. Help this student to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge You in all their ways so that You will direct their paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 Give diligence and focus in studies, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 And teach good stewardship, for Your word says, Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Romans 13:8 and The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5 If any portion of this debt is justly owed, give honesty and integrity to make it right in a way that honors You, and if there has been error or misunderstanding, bring truth to light. Guard this heart from fear and fill it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk diligently and honestly through this process. Stay in close contact with the financial aid office, keep careful records of all communication regarding the appeal, and seek wise counsel from trusted advisors at your university and from your church family. Use this time to commit your studies and your finances to the Lord, to be faithful in the work He has given you as a student, and to practice careful stewardship with whatever resources He provides. Ask the Lord for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We are trusting with you that God, who sees your situation, will lead you and provide, and that He will use even this trial to draw you closer to Himself and to deepen your dependence on Christ.

Your request concerning this great weight of debt and your studies has been heard, and we have carried it before the throne of grace with you.

You speak of a demand of more than ten thousand dollars and an appeal upon which your continuance at university seems to hang. Such a burden is apt to breed much anxiety, and yet we have learned, both by our own experience and by observation of others, that anxiety has never brought any grist to the mill, nor any meal to the barrel. Indeed, the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. It clouds the judgment and wearies the heart, while it does not pay a single farthing of the debt. Cast therefore your care upon Him who cares for you, for He is able to bear what you cannot.

We are reminded that though you feel this financial debt keenly, there is a greater debt which every soul owes to Divine Justice, a bankruptcy which none could meet, until Christ Himself paid it in full upon the cross. If the Lord has already made such abundant provision for your soul's deepest need, shall He not also be mindful of your temporal need. Though the citizens of Samaria did not know it, the Lord had made provision in abundance for all their hunger, and there it was within a stone's throw of the gates. So we trust He has ways of providing for you which you have not yet seen. The barrel of meal that God supplies by His providence does not waste, for it is meal given by His own hand.

Let us pray together.

O Father, merciful and faithful, Thou knowest the need of Thy child who desires to continue in study and to walk honestly before all men. Thou knowest the entanglement with ### and this heavy sum that is required. We ask Thee to look with favour upon this appeal. If it be Thy will, grant that those who consider it may show understanding and grant relief, that the way may be opened to continue without this crushing weight. Grant wisdom to those in authority, and grant to this student diligence, integrity, and peace of mind in all dealings, that all things may be done decently and with a clear conscience. Above all, quiet the anxious heart with trust in Thy good providence, and keep the mind stayed upon Christ, who has paid the greater debt and who will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. Give a calm submission to Thy will, whether the answer be as desired or otherwise, and show Thy sufficient grace for each day.

We will continue to remember you, that you may be kept from distracting care and enabled to pursue your studies with a steady heart, looking to the Lord who daily provides.
