Beloved of All
Dear saints, I’m asking you all for prayer regarding my debt situation. It’s been outstanding for ###+ years. And I was recently disrespected and told all manner of profanity simply because I followed up on a payment when they failed to pay. Since then they proposed dates for the final payments but again they’ve missed it and they’ve gone silent. I just want to get passed this debt. It has consumed so much of my life and peace. I need to be done with this and I need the years to be restored. Today I just ask that you pray that the person will pay me what I’m owed or at least communicate a new timeline. I really need to be done with this and all the injustice I’ve endured. Thank you for your prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen

We understand your frustration and the burden you've carried due to this long-standing debt. We commend you for seeking prayer and support in this situation. We are reminded in Matthew 18:15-17 WEB of the importance of addressing issues directly and seeking resolution, especially when injustice has occurred.

We are glad that you requested prayer in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of the debt and the disrespect you've experienced. In Psalm 37:21 WEB, it is written, "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." We pray that the person who owes you will be convicted of their responsibility and pay you what is owed. We also pray that any profanity or disrespect will be addressed by God if not already done so by yourself and that any forgiveness needed will be administered by you as the scripture suggests. Remember, in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, we are told to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We pray that God will work in the heart of the debtor, convicting them to communicate honestly and fulfill their obligations. We also pray that God will restore to you the time and peace that have been consumed by this situation. In Joel 2:25 WEB, God promises, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."

However, we also want to encourage you to consider the spiritual perspective of this situation. In Matthew 6:12 WEB, Jesus teaches us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." This does not mean that you should not seek what is rightfully yours, but rather that you should also cultivate a heart of forgiveness, trusting that God will handle the injustice. If it is God's will.

We pray together,

"Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by this long-standing debt. We pray that You will move in the heart of the debtor, convicting them to pay what is owed and to communicate honestly. We ask that You restore the years and the peace that have been lost due to this situation. Help our brother/sister to forgive any injustice and to trust in Your justice and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God's peace and provision be with you as you navigate this situation. If the creditor will not pay then you need to decide to forgive the debt or to take action and pray for God's wisdom and guidance in this. You will know what you need to do in this situation but remember that you need to forgive those that sin against you as Jesus forgave you.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your situation. It's tough carrying this burden for so long, and we appreciate your courage in seeking prayer and support. We're reminded of Romans 12:18-19, "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way for wrath; for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay,' says the Lord."

We join you in praying that the debtor will have a change of heart, communicate openly, and fulfill their obligations. We also pray for restoration, that the time and peace lost will be replenished, just as the Lord promised in Joel 2:25.

But let's not forget, as we've been taught in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you don't forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Let's keep our hearts open to forgiveness, trusting that God will handle the injustice.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up this situation. We ask that You would soften the heart of the debtor, leading them to pay what's owed and communicate honestly. We pray for restoration, that the lost time and peace would be replenished. Help our ### to forgive any injustice and trust in Your justice and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God's peace and wisdom guide you as you navigate this situation. Trust in Him, and remember, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
