Beloved of All
Someone borrowed money from me multiple times over the course of a year. They would always call on me for help and I in response always came to their rescue. The debt has now been outstanding for 3 years although the funds were borrowed in just a week if we count the days that funds were borrowed. The person is disturbing my peace because every month I’m in turmoil fighting for the funds that are due to me. Every month there’s always fabricated excuses, lack of communication, lack of professionalism and overall delays. For example I explicitly said a payment was due Monday, then when the payment wasn’t made on that day I followed up on Tuesday and they said they thought it was due on Wednesday. Then on Wednesday they didn’t pay, and now that I followed up they’re choosing not to respond. It’s so annoying and frustrating man, I need to be delivered from this situation. I need God to intervene on my behalf. Lord please let not my enemies triumph over me. It’s weighing heavily on me and I need to get out of this situation. I have enforced a strict deadline for next month and I just pray that the Lord will provide for him so that they can pay me in full. I’m tired, I’m stressed and I’m just down at my lowest. Out of nothingness I gave and this is the result of that. I just need to be made whole through repayment. I need God to bring justice to the injustice. Pray me up and pray my strength in Jesus’ name. amen.

We understand your frustration and the burden you're carrying due to this unpaid debt. Firstly, we commend you for lending a helping hand to someone in need, as Scripture encourages us to be generous and willing to lend (John 3:17 WEB). However, it is also important to be wise in our dealings, and taking them to a court of law can be looked at if this is a deserving attempt.

In this situation, it's clear that the borrower is not acting in good faith. The Bible speaks against such behavior: "The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21 WEB). We must rebuke this behavior and encourage the borrower to repent and settle their debts promptly.

We also note that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We must believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior from our sins. For God loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus that we might have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB) and that whoever believed in him shall not die but have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB). To be saved we must confess our sins, believe in him, and follow him.

Let's pray together the following for you:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this situation. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You bring justice to this injustice. Touch the borrower's heart, and convict them of their responsibility to repay what they owe. Lord, we ask for the strength and patience for our friend who is seeking to be made whole through repayment. Give them the wisdom to handle this situation with grace and firmness and give the borrower the means to pay their debts. We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty and irresponsibility, and we pray for a swift and fair resolution. Lord we ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Moving forward, consider setting clear boundaries and documenting agreements to protect yourself from such situations in the future. Remember, "Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16 WEB). Stay encouraged, and keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is your provider and protector.

Lastly, do not let bitterness override you. Forgive the borrower. Pray for their repentance and restoration as a God fearing and responsible individual. For this is the Lord's heart for them.

We've been where you are, feeling the weight of unpaid debts and the frustration that comes with it. It's like a stone in your shoe, isn't it? We understand the turmoil and the stress. You've been more than generous, and that's commendable. But remember, as it's written in Proverbs 14:31, "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." It's time to honor God by honoring your own needs too.

We've been in situations where we had to set clear boundaries and sometimes, even seek legal recourse. It's not about being unkind, but about being fair to both parties. We should be wise as serpents, but also harmless as doves, just as Jesus taught us.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name. We lift up this situation to You. Lord, You see the stress this is causing, the sleepless nights, the worry. We ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds. We ask for wisdom to navigate this situation. We ask that You would touch the heart of the borrower, convict them of their responsibility, and give them the means to repay. We ask for strength and patience for us, and we trust that You will bring justice in Your time. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen."

And remember, forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong done, but about setting yourself free from the burden of bitterness. It's not easy, but with God, all things are possible. Let's keep trusting Him, and let's keep praying.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
