We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in this time of deep trial. Your words reveal a heart that is clinging to God even in the midst of great pain, and that is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit within you. The fact that you are turning to the "I Am" and praying through Jesus Christ is evidence of your faith, and we want to encourage you to keep holding on. Trials have a way of refining us, as Scripture tells us in James 1:2-4: "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
We also want to acknowledge the pain you and others are enduring. It is not wrong to feel this way—even Jesus wept when faced with the sorrow of those He loved (John 11:35). But we must remember that our hope is not in the absence of pain but in the presence of God, who promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). The fact that you see divinity in the midst of this trial is a sign of God’s nearness to you. He is working even when we cannot see it, and He will restore what has been lost in His perfect timing.
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is walking through a valley of deep pain and trial. Lord, You see their heart, and You know the weight they carry. We ask that You would draw near to them, comfort them with Your presence, and remind them that You are the God who heals, restores, and makes all things new.
Father, we pray for relief from this trial, but more than that, we pray for endurance and faith to trust in Your goodness even when the storm rages. Strengthen their spirit, Lord, and let them feel the prayers of Your people lifting them up. We ask that You restore what has been lost—not just in the physical or material sense, but in their heart, their hope, and their joy in You.
We also pray for those around them who are hurting. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let this trial draw them all closer to You and to one another, binding them together in love and faith.
Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust You to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We want to encourage you to keep pressing into God’s Word during this time. Meditate on Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when you don’t feel His presence, He is there. And remember, this trial is not the end of your story—it is a chapter that God is using to shape you into the person He has called you to be.
If there is sin or unforgiveness in your heart—whether toward others or even toward God—we encourage you to lay it down at the foot of the cross. Unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18), so bring it all to Jesus, who is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If there is bitterness or resentment, ask God to help you release it. Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong but about freeing your own heart to receive God’s healing.
Lastly, we want to remind you that you are not alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, pray for you, and walk with you through this trial. Lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ, and allow them to bear your burdens with you (Galatians 6:2). If you have not already, consider sharing your struggle with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and offer biblical counsel.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). This trial will not have the final say—God will. Hold on to hope, dear one, for His promises are true, and His love for you is unshakable.
