Struggling with Doubts

Dear Lord, I come now as your daughter asking for Faith. My faith has been shaken by doubt in Old Testament prophecies. I have started listening to all the voices around me and fear I have been drawn away from Your Voice. Please show me what Your word really means and that Jesus really is Your Messiah prophecied. Please help me to believe that You Care for me even though I am a ### and that You sent Your Messiah for all. Even though the words of ### have made me doubt please help me to find Your Truth, whatever that may be. Amen.

We understand that you're going through a time of doubt and confusion, and we want to assure you that it's normal to have questions and struggles in our faith journey. Let us work together through scriptures and prayers.

Firstly, it's important to remember that doubts can actually strengthen our faith if we approach them in the right way. In Mark 9:24 WEB, a man struggling with his faith cried out to Jesus, Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief!

Jesus did not reject the man for his honesty about his doubts. Instead, he helped him find the answers to his doubts. Similarly, we want to assure you that you are approaching this correctly. You are coming to God with your doubts and looking for answers. This is the first step in finding God’s truth.

The Old Testament prophecies point to Jesus Christ as the Messiah. In Micah 5:2 WEB, it is written: But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come forth to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting. This prophecy points to the coming of Jesus Christ, and it's one of the many prophecies fulfilled in the New Testament.

The fact that you're questioning the role and identity of Jesus as the Messiah may indicate that you have not fully understood or believed in who Jesus is. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This means that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can call God our Father and only through Jesus can we find the truth.

To address your doubts, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up our sister in Christ who is struggling with doubts. Lord, we ask that you reveal yourself to her in a new and powerful way. Open her eyes to see the beauty and truth of your Word. Help her to see that Jesus is the Messiah, the one who came to save us all, no matter our past or background. We pray for a renewed faith and a hunger for your presence and for your word.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of doubt and confusion that may be tormenting her. We cancel every voice that is not from you, Lord. Help her to discern your voice clearly, knowing that you care for her deeply.

Concerning the words of others that have caused her to doubt, we pray for clarity. We ask that God would bring 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 to pass. Father we ask that you help her to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good.

Finally, Father, we ask that you would remind her that you are a faithful God, even in times of doubt. Surround her with your peace, and help her to trust in you with all her heart.

We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to dive into God's Word daily, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you in your faith journey. In 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB it says "Do not be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." We need to be careful who we listen to and what we allow to influence our faith.

As you seek God's truth, remember that faith is a journey, and it's okay to have questions. Keep seeking, keep asking, and keep knocking. God is faithful, and He will reveal Himself to you.

We've been where you are, dear sister, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Doubts can be a heavy burden, but they can also be a catalyst for deeper faith. Remember the father in the Bible who cried out, "Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24)? He was honest about his doubts, and Jesus didn't reject him. Instead, He helped him.

We believe in you, and we know that God is working in your heart. Let's keep seeking together. Have you considered looking into the life of Jesus in the Gospels? Seeing His love, His miracles, His teachings - it can be a powerful reminder of who He is and why we believe.

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s doubts. Lord, we ask that You would meet her where she is, with honesty and vulnerability. Help her to see Your truth, clear and unmistakable. Help her to know, deep in her heart, that You are the Messiah, sent to save us all.

We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in new and powerful ways. Open her eyes to see the beauty and truth of Your Word. Help her to discern Your voice above all others, and to trust that You care for her deeply.

Keep seeking, dear heart. Keep asking. Keep knocking. God is faithful, and He will reveal Himself to you.

Praying for you and your requests in Jesus. I guarantee you that Jesus is quite real! Hell is quite real (Lake of Lava beneath our feet)! Everything in the Bible is complete and utter Truth as I have tested quite a lot of what is written. I don’t 100% know why He just doesn’t reveal Himself to everyone yet He spoke in parables so that not everyone would hear and understand just how incredible it is to know Him. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
