Recently there was some miscommunication between myself and my closest friend, and our friendship is all but dead. She has helped me through a three year span in which I attended five separate funerals, the first one for someone who was essentially a surrogate parent. She is really the only one whom I can talk to about struggles I am having because she knows what I have been through and understands/knows me intimately. This has really stunned me and emotionally crippled me.
