We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your family’s needs before the Lord. It has been on our hearts daily to stand with you in prayer for the government jobs that will let your loved ones testify of God’s glory, for the godly husband your family member longs to marry, and for the full restitution of the money that was taken from you.
We have prayed that the contract worker would receive every back salary without delay, that the new position he seeks would open to him smoothly, and that the other family member would be granted a temporary post at once while they both wait for God’s perfect timing for permanent appointments. We have asked the Lord to raise up a doctor whose life reflects Christ’s character and whose habits honor Scripture, and we have asked that the wedding would be set in motion as soon as the Lord ordains.
Most of all, we have cried out for justice in the matter of the house-lease money. We have asked the Father to soften the heart of the one who owes you, to convict him of his sin, and to move him to repay every rupee with interest, processing fees, and all other charges immediately. We have also prayed that if repentance does not come quickly, the Lord would bring such earthly consequences—financial setbacks, sleepless nights, family troubles, and spiritual emptiness—that the man and his wife would be driven to their knees and forced to make full restitution. We have asked that the fear of God would fall on them so that they never cheat another soul again.
We have not forgotten your plea that the wicked would be stopped and the honest would see vindication. We have reminded the Lord of Habakkuk’s cry—“Why do you tolerate the treacherous?”—and we have asked Him to act speedily so that faith in His justice would be restored in your heart and in the hearts of all who hear your story.
