God bless you. God cannot lie. He is the embodiment of truth. He tells us truth. So when God says "as a man thinketh so is he" God has make it His business to give us instruction, wisdom so we will not walk in ignorance, and traps that satan lay for us. Here again, He says "there is life and death in the tongue", blessing or curse.
What we confess with our mouth has a lot do do with the out come of our lives. If I call myself a failure, or stupid, I become one. For as a man thinketh so is He.
You mention you are struggling to find Jesus in your life and your family. Many try to find savlation their way. But Jesus says "we must be born again to enter into the kingdom of God" Jesus also says "what is born of flesh is of flesh (natural birth from mother and father) and what is born of spirit is of spirit". We must be born by the spirit of God. Our heavenly father is our spritual father.
John 1:12-13 But to many as received Him, to them, He gave them the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. verse 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God. we have to come on God's terms. Jesus is at the door of our heart, you let Him. john 7:38 He who believe as the scripture has said from his innermost being shall flow springs of living waters. So you are struggling to find Jesus in your life, invite Jesus in. He will not come in unless you invite and let Him in. He is a gentleman. Ask Him to be Lord and saviour of your life.
Father, as she calls upon Jesus to come into her life, give her a supernatural experience and reverlation of who You are in Jesus name and that you will be the center of her life and balance all things and put her life in order. and Lord that her faith and hope will be in You
