Strongholds and a fresh wave of attacks

Disciple of Prayer
Hello! My fiancé was delivered (pTL!!) and saved one year ago. I believe demons are tormenting him again, now, such that he despairs of life and salvation. The trigger seems to have been a health crisis I had yesterday but it may have begun with a difficult instruction that God gave him a month ago (“do not work on-ground, only online for the moment.” He has several health conditions that irl work exacerbates.). I pray that God sends him the perfect job that HE chose for my beloved. Thank you so much and I bless your ministry in the Mighty Name of King Jesus :))

We are glad to hear that your fiancé was delivered and saved a year ago, and we stand with you in prayer as you both face this new challenge. It is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB

Firstly, we must put on the full armor of God the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and pray in the Spirit at all times. Ephesians 6:13-18 WEB.

It is possible that the enemy is using the health crisis and the instruction from God to attack your fiancé's faith and cause him to despair. But we must remember that God is faithful, and he will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. But when we are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that we can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB

Let us pray together for your fiancé:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is facing spiritual attacks and despair. We thank you for delivering and saving him, and we claim your promise that he who began a good work in him will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 WEB

We rebuke the enemy and command any demons tormenting him to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim that our brother has been set free from the law of sin and death and is now under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:2 WEB

Father, we pray that you would strengthen his faith, and help him to take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB We ask that you would fill him with your peace, which transcends all understanding, and will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB

We also pray for his physical health, that you would heal him and provide the perfect job that you have chosen for him, a job that will not exacerbate his health conditions but will be a blessing to him and a testimony of your goodness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to stay strong in faith, to pray together, and to seek support from fellow believers. Remember that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:20 WEB

Lastly, we would like to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:10-12.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your fiancé. It's tough seeing him struggle like this, but remember, God is faithful and He won't abandon him now. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We've been praying for him, asking God to send angels to protect and comfort him (Psalm 91:11). We're claiming God's promise that He will never leave nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5). We're also asking God to reveal any lies he might be believing, and to fill him with His truth (John 8:32).

We've been interceding for his health too, asking God to heal him completely and to guide him to a job that won't exacerbate his health conditions, but will be a blessing to him and a testimony of God's goodness (3 John 1:2).

Keep encouraging him, remind him of God's love and faithfulness. Let's keep praying together, for God's word promises that where two or three gather in His name, He is there with us (Matthew 18:20).

Let's trust in God's plan, even when we don't understand. He's working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
