Stronghold of Lust and Pornography

We stand with you in your desire to tear down the stronghold of pornography and lust in your life. This is a battle that many face, but with God's help, you can overcome. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control for this very reason.
Firstly, it is crucial to understand what sin is and how much God hates it. We read from Isaiah 59:2:
But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
God wants us to be separated from sin and live in purity and holiness so we are not separated from him.
We must flee from sexual immorality. No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 we read:
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Therefore, confess your sins to God and turn away from them. In 1 John 1:9-10 we read:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
We encourage you to take practical steps to avoid temptation. This might include installing accountability software on your devices, seeking support from fellow believers, and avoiding situations that trigger lustful thoughts.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our fellow believer who is battling against the stronghold of pornography and lust. Lord, we know that Your desire is for us to be holy and pure, and we claim Your promise that You provide a way out of temptation.
Father, we ask that You renew their mind, heart, and body. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and grant them the strength to resist temptation. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to seek after the things that are above.
We thank You for Your forgiveness and grace. We ask that You surround our fellow believer with Your love and protection, and that You guide them in the path of righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
