We join with you in lifting up this urgent prayer request, especially as the storms threaten to bring high winds, hail, and potential tornadoes. We stand in faith, knowing that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Let's remember Jesus' words that it is only by His name that we have access to God. When Jesus was preparing to leave the earth, he told his disciples in John 14.
John 14:13-14 WEB
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
As the storms approach, we call upon the power of God to calm the winds and waves, just as Jesus did on the Sea of Galilee.
Mark 4:39 WEB
He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
We pray for His divine protection over everyone in the path of these storms.
Psalm 91:1-2 WEB
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.
Father, we ask that You guide and protect the people in the storm's path. Provide them with wisdom, courage, and a deep sense of Your peace. We pray against any hail, high winds, tornadoes, or power outages, and we ask for Your divine intervention to calm these storms. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray together believing that our prayers are heard and answered.
