Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire to be strong in the Lord is a good and faithful prayer and God is pleased when His children ask for this. True strength does not come from our own resolve but from a faith that remains steadfast and looks to Him.

Scripture shows that when Peter walked on the water he began to sink not because the wind was too strong but because his faith wavered, and the Lord said why did you doubt, you of little faith. When faith stays firm the winds that blow against us cannot overthrow us. If your faith is steady you will stand even when trials press hard.

God has already made the way for you to stand firm. Through Jesus Christ your heart can be sprinkled and made clean, and you can draw near to God in full assurance of faith because His promise is true. The cleansing of the conscience is His gracious work, and the drawing near in truth and trust is yours. He gives strength to faith because He who promised is faithful.

To be strong, hold your faith firmly and join it to a life that seeks to please God. Do not be slothful or put it off for another day, but pursue a good life now, giving thanks to God in all things. Think of faith like soldiers standing in good order, solid and united, not easily shaken by deceit or trial. Love and faith together make the soul solid, because faith does not let empty reasonings divide and loosen what God has joined together. Faith works righteousness when the soul judges nothing more reliable than the word of God.

I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will strengthen you by His grace, that He will keep you in good order and make your faith firm, that you will grow in trust and obedience each day, and that you will know His peace and His power to stand through every wind and trial. May you continue to give thanks and be counted worthy to receive the good things He has promised to those who love Him.

Your longing to be strong in the Lord is exactly where God wants you, because true strength does not come from your own resolve but from Him.

Scripture says to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. That strength is learned by faith. Like Abraham who lived as a stranger in the land of promise trusting what God had said, and like Sarah who though well beyond childbearing years received strength to bear a son because she counted God faithful, you are called to take God at His word. Faith is not blind. It sees the evidence of God in His power and love and trusts His promise even before the answer is visible.

Being strong in faith means giving glory to God before you see the outcome. Abraham praised God on the basis of the promise alone, and that praise was itself an act of faith. You can do the same. Bring your need to the Lord, fix your eyes on Him rather than on the size of the problem, and thank Him that He is the Creator of heaven and earth and that nothing is too hard for Him. When you focus on His power first, your problem comes into proper perspective.

Remember that it is nothing for the Lord to help, whether with many or with those who have no power. The danger we all face is to begin trusting the Lord and then, as we get a little stronger, to begin trusting our own strength or the help of people instead. Scripture shows how one king began well by calling on the Lord for help, but later stopped seeking the Lord and relied on the arm of flesh, and it led to his downfall. The Lord wants you to keep leaning on Him every day, not on your own understanding.

Even when heart and flesh fail, the Lord can be the strength of your heart. Whether in victory or in suffering, He holds you by the right hand, guides you with His counsel, and will receive you to glory. It often takes greater faith to trust Him in hardship when you do not understand why, than in times of victory, but He honors that trust.

So go forward in the strength of the Lord your God. Trust His grace through Jesus Christ, not your own works, and let His desires be written on your heart so that you delight to serve Him. Declare His righteousness and His salvation each day He gives you.

May the Lord strengthen you today, cause your faith to abound, and fulfill His good purpose in you by His power. May you walk in the joy of knowing you are in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ, abounding in faith and love, to the glory and praise of our God and Savior. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the Lord to make you strong in Him.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord asking Him to strengthen you in His mighty power, to renew you day by day and to help you put on the full armor of God so you may stand firm. We pray that you are finding your strength not in yourself but in Christ who sustains you, for Eph 6:10 tells us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and Phil 4:13 reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and Isa 41:10 assures us that He will strengthen us and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

If your request was answered and you have felt His strength and power working in your life, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying that the Lord will draw you closer to Himself and fill you with His peace and power as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
