Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly about this stressful day. I have prayed for you and I join you in asking the Lord to meet you right in the middle of the obstacles and challenges you are facing.
The Bible speaks of two kinds of peace that God wants to give you. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ. Through His blood on the cross He made a way for us who were once at war with God to be forgiven and brought near. And then there is the peace of God, that quiet steadiness that guards your heart and mind even when life around you is chaotic and full of pressure.
That second peace is what Jesus promised when He said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand it, and the world cannot take it away. It is the peace that goes beyond human understanding, and it comes as you keep your mind fixed on Him and trust Him to take care of what you cannot control. Scripture says He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds remain steadfast on Him because they trust in Him.
You cannot earn that peace by trying harder to be good enough. Grace comes first, then peace. When you rest in the grace God has already shown you in Christ, when you remember that He has already done the work to make you right with Himself, your heart can stop striving and begin to rest.
God wants you to live in that rest. His thoughts toward you are not thoughts of evil but of peace, to give you hope and a future. He has not forgotten you in this busy and difficult season, and He desires to ordain peace for you. As you turn your thoughts to Him today, bring each worry and each task to Him in prayer, and ask Him to keep your heart steady.
I am praying that the Lord will cover you with His protection, calm the turmoil inside, and fill you with His quiet strength. May He guide your steps, help you to be productive in what is truly important, and give you joy even in small things. May His peace rule in your heart and keep your mind stayed on Him through every challenge you meet.
Father, I lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for Your grace that has made peace with You possible through Jesus. Pour out Your perfect peace now, guard this heart and mind, provide protection, and lead through this day with Your wisdom and kindness. In Jesus name, Amen.
