Stressed and Frustrated

Dear friends,

Please help me to pray for my marriage. I trust and believe God is able to mend my marriage, and I need help touching and agreeing for this request. My husband and I are newly weds and we have a blended family, we qre expecting our first child together. The challenge is the lack of understanding, affection, encouragement. We are also faced with the challenge our agreeing on disciple with the children and favoritism. It has been stressful, and frustrating, however I believe we do love each other. I am holding on to God's promise to never leave us nor forsake us. So please keep my family and marriage in your prayers.

Let Christ be your counselor and you guide. Dear Lord, give this young family wisdom and discerment. Lead people into their lives to help them through the rocky times where they need a shoulder to lean on. Allow people in their lives who won't judge them or try to advise them in a negative way. Let them realize that they need to stand together and be in agreement. Nothing good ever came out of chaos. They need to make wise decisions regarding their blended families. If they need resources, open that door to help them. If they need a friend, send them two. If they need space, make it happen.

Help them realize it is OK to disagree but it should be done in a loving manner. For love is kind. They need to remember to love and respect each other and all the children. Let them show no favortism for children are a special gift but they are not ours to keep.

We need to train them up to become adults themselves one day. May your hand be on each family member. There is no greater joy than being in a loving family. I pray for this marriage to be blessed and be prosperous, that they would put you first in their life and let everything else fall into place according to your will. Thank you for this couple and their new life together and their blended families. May they some day consider themselves one family only, not yours, not mine, but ours! Bless them. A-men

Dear Heavenly Father I come before You in the name of Jesus and I ask that You alone smooth out the rough patches in this marriage and blended family. Lord I pray that this family can come to some sort of resolve so that there can be harmony in this Household and that You can smooth out all the confusion and favortism and etc. You know the areas that need to be repaired and fixed. Dear Father I stand in agreement with these prayers for this family. I pray that love would abound. Place them in a good church to bring up their children in. so the can serve You and love You together. let the children see that their parents love God. help them to stick together so children wont play them against each other. Send them Christian friends and influence. Father, train them up as parents lovers and friends. thank You God.
