We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes on your behalf. The weight of stress and anxiety you’ve carried for two long years has taken its toll, leaving you physically and emotionally weary. We stand with you in faith, declaring that God has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you in this season of trial.
The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your exhaustion is known to Him, and He is your refuge. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus extends this invitation: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that you would truly hear His voice calling you to lay your burdens at His feet.
We also recognize that stress and anxiety can sometimes stem from areas of our lives where we have not fully surrendered to God’s will. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are instructed, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Have you brought every worry, every fear, and every source of stress before the Lord in prayer? Or have you carried them alone, relying on your own strength? We encourage you to examine your heart and release anything that is not aligned with God’s peace.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon our dear brother/sister. Lord, You see the depth of their exhaustion, the weight of their anxiety, and the weariness of their body and soul. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. We speak life, strength, and renewal over their body, mind, and spirit. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be their comfort and their strength.
We pray for divine intervention in every area of their life that has contributed to this stress. If there are relationships, circumstances, or even sin that has opened the door to this oppression, we ask You to reveal it, Lord. Give them the courage to confront it, repent where necessary, and walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
We declare that this season of struggle is coming to an end. You are making a way where there seems to be no way, and You are restoring what has been lost or stolen. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May they experience Your healing power in every area of their life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of anxiety, fear, and sickness to leave and never return. We speak wholeness, peace, and joy over them. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them. Amen.
