Stress and Anxiety

Father you have asked us to "Abide in you and you will abide in us."

With all that is going on I am filled with anxiety. Please help me to abide in you as I need you today and always to abide with me.

Lord show me the way to focus my thoughts solely on you! Fill me with the peace of the Holy Spirit as I am a mess this morning. My troubles are consuming every waking and sleeping moment of my life.

I want to be consumed by your loving grace and peace, not by the fear and anxiety of problems.

I place all at your feet and ask for your forgiveness in all my wrongdoings and in any way that I have offended you. I ask that you take this life of mine and make it yours, please clean up the messes of my life Jesus, I want to abide in you.

Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

Abba Father I pray that You would loose the spirit of fear and anxiety from Justine this morning as we pray. Lord lift her spirits, soothe her heart and spirit this morning. Lord there is so much turmoil in our lives at times that weakens us, I pray for a fresh breath of Your love and grace to filter through Justine as she goes into her day. Renew her strength and bring her through another day, and then another, in Jesus name I pray amen.

Father, I touch and agree with these prayers for Justine.

We know anxiety and doubt are tools of the enemy, to get us to take our eyes off of You. Give Justine the strength and perseverance to trust in Your faithfulness - let her feel Your comfort. I pray for her environment to be serene and peaceful, overseen by Your loving care. In Jesus' name, amen.

I encourage you to read the Bible and spend some time there, and to pray as you do that God would help you focus and understand and be fed. If it's still hard to stay focus read out load even. And if you find you get to the bottom of the page and have no idea what you just read, read it again, and again until you do. Often I've found filling my mind with truth chases away negativity and anxiety. Sometimes worship music also helps. And pray if its not getting through to you, as you listen, or read and ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you.

Father, I pray for Justine, You know exactly what she needs. Help her Lord to understand and please replace the anxiety with Your peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
