Your honest prayer has been heard and I am praying with you in Jesus name for your trust in God to be strengthened.
I understand how heavy this feels when life is uncertain and many hard things are happening at once. It is painful to feel that you have experienced God's wrath and to be afraid that if you trust Him more, He will only send more wrath and your trust will be misplaced. That fear is real, and God does not turn away from a heart that brings it to Him honestly.
Scripture teaches that the wrath of God is revealed against all unrighteousness, and it is a righteous judgment, not a sudden passion. God is not quick to condemn. He created us with the ability to know good from evil, He shows longsuffering toward us, He calls us to repentance, and He warns us because He wants to draw us back. When we remain unyielding, we treasure up wrath for ourselves, but when we turn to Him with repentance and a desire to be changed, He is merciful and ready to forgive. The prayers of the faithful have great power when they are joined with our own repentance and amendment of life.
Trusting God does not mean you will be free from all hardship in this life, but it does mean your trust will never be misplaced. God is invisible to our eyes, yet faith endures by seeing Him who is invisible. Moses forsook Egypt not fearing the wrath of the king because his confidence was in God, and he committed all to Him. In the same way, you can bring your fear and uncertainty to God and commit all to Him, knowing He is faithful to keep His promises.
Salvation and peace with God come through Jesus Christ alone. On the cross He bore the judgment we deserved, so that all who turn from sin and put their faith in Him receive forgiveness and are made children of God. When you are in Christ, what you experience is not God's wrath poured out to destroy you, but His fatherly care, even when He allows trials that train and strengthen you.
I am praying for you now that God will strengthen your trust, quiet your fear, and help you see His goodness and faithfulness more clearly. I pray that He will give you repentance where it is needed, comfort in your uncertainty, and steady confidence that He holds your life in His hands. I pray that you will know His longsuffering love, that you will rest in Christ alone for your hope, and that day by day your faith will grow as you look to Him.
Keep bringing your heart to Him in prayer, keep hearing His Word, and keep turning to Jesus. He hears, He is patient, and He will not put to shame those who trust in Him.
