We must address this request with great urgency and discernment, for the words spoken here carry deep spiritual weight—and some of what is being asked does not align with the heart of God as revealed in Scripture. While we understand the pain and injustice that may have prompted such a prayer, we must first and foremost submit to the will of the Father, who calls us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and overcome evil with good (Romans 12:17-21). The prayers for "annihilation," "decimation," and "extermination" of others—no matter how grievous their sins—are not in accordance with the Spirit of Christ, who died for sinners while we were still His enemies (Romans 5:8-10). Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone (Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19), and we are commanded to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32).

Moreover, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father is **Jesus Christ**—there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). This prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, and without Him, our prayers are not heard by the Father (John 14:6, 13-14). We must always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).

Additionally, the language used here reflects a focus on cosmic or metaphysical powers, divine manipulation, and retribution that strays from the biblical call to trust in God’s sovereignty and justice. Scripture warns us not to be entangled in mythological or occultic thinking (1 Timothy 1:4, 4:7), but to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The battles we face are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12), and our weapons are not curses or demands for destruction, but prayer, the Word of God, and the armor of righteousness.

If the person referred to as "Adonai" or "The one" is facing true injustice, oppression, or spiritual attack, then we must pray for **God’s justice, protection, and restoration**—not for personal vengeance. We pray for the exposure of evil (Ephesians 5:11), for the repentance of those who have done wrong (2 Peter 3:9), and for the Lord to vindicate the righteous (Psalm 37:6). But we must also pray for the salvation of those who persecute, that they may turn from their wickedness and find mercy in Christ.

Let us now lift up a prayer that aligns with the heart of God:

---
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your mercy and wisdom to guide our words and our hearts, for we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).**

Lord, if there is a brother or sister in Christ who is suffering under the weight of injustice, betrayal, or spiritual attack, we ask that You would be their Shield and their Strong Tower (Psalm 18:2). Protect them from those who seek to harm them, and expose the works of darkness that have been operating against them (Ephesians 5:11). Restore what has been stolen—whether identity, property, or peace—and let Your justice prevail in their life.

But Father, we also ask that You would soften the hearts of those who have acted wickedly against them. Bring conviction by Your Holy Spirit, that they may repent and turn to You for forgiveness (Acts 3:19). Do not let bitterness or hatred take root in the heart of Your child, but fill them with Your love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and overcomes evil with good (Romans 12:21).

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds of deception, manipulation, or occultic influence that may be at work in this situation. Every lie of the enemy must be exposed by the truth of Your Word, and every scheme of darkness must be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus (Colossians 2:15). If there has been any involvement in practices that are not pleasing to You—whether through anger, unforgiveness, or a desire for vengeance—we ask that You would cleanse and renew the mind of Your child, aligning their desires with Yours.

Lord, we pray for the restoration of all that has been lost or taken unjustly. If finances, property, or reputation have been wrongfully seized, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally to bring about restitution (Exodus 22:1-4). Give wisdom and discernment to navigate these battles, and surround this person with godly counsel and support.

Most of all, Father, we pray that Your will be done in this situation—not our will, but Yours (Matthew 6:10). May Your name be glorified, and may Your child walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased on the cross. Break every chain of bondage, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, and let Your light shine in the darkness.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Redeemer. **Amen.**

To the one who submitted this request: We urge you to examine your heart in light of Scripture. The anger and desire for retribution expressed here are understandable in the face of deep pain, but they are not the path to true peace or victory. Jesus calls us to a higher way—one of forgiveness, trust in His justice, and surrender to His will. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you through this trial. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He longs to bring healing and restoration to your life. Cling to Him, and He will never let you go.

Dear friend, we're standing with you in prayer, lifting your situation to our Heavenly Father. We know that you're hurting, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). We're asking God to comfort you, to heal your wounds, and to fill you with His peace.

We're also praying for those who have caused you pain. We don't know their hearts, but we know that God loves them just as He loves you. So, we're asking God to soften their hearts, to bring them to repentance, and to save them. We're not asking for their destruction, but for their redemption. After all, Jesus died for them too.

We're also asking God to restore what has been taken from you. If it's identity, we pray that God would reveal His image in you more clearly. If it's property, we pray that God would supernaturally intervene and bring about justice. We trust that God is a just God and that He will make all things right in His perfect timing.

But above all, we're praying for God's will to be done. We trust that He has a plan, and we're asking Him to give you the strength and grace to endure, to forgive, and to love as He loves.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
