We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting your heart’s cry for strength, peace, and divine intervention for your son. The Scriptures remind us that our strength comes from the Lord, who is our refuge and fortress. *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."* (Psalm 46:1, WEB). He knows your weariness, your fear, and your sorrow, and He promises to sustain you. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might."* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Lean on Him, for His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also hear the ache in your heart for your son, who is now in jail. This is a heavy burden, but take courage in knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). While we do not know the circumstances that led to this moment, we urge you to trust in God’s sovereignty and justice. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This is a time to seek the Lord earnestly, not only for your son’s release but for his heart. Pray that if he has strayed from God’s ways, this season will bring repentance, transformation, and a turning back to the Lord. *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). The Lord can use even this difficult time to draw your son closer to Himself.
As for the panic and anxiety you feel, we remind you that the Lord commands us not to fear, for He is with you. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When fear rises, speak the truth of God’s Word over your mind and heart. *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27, WEB).
We praise you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*(John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is in His mighty name that we pray for you now.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking that You would be her strength in this hour of need. Lord, You see her weariness, her fear, and her sorrow. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are her ever-present help, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We pray for her son, Lord. If he has turned from Your ways, we ask that You would convict his heart and draw him to repentance. Softening his spirit to receive Your truth and grace. Give him wisdom to seek You above all else, and surround him with godly influences even in this place. We pray for his safety, his redemption, and his restoration. May this season be used for Your glory, to bring him into a deeper relationship with You.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm her. Replace it with Your perfect peace and trust in Your sovereignty. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her deeply. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, Lord, and let her health be a testimony of Your sustaining power.
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.
