Dear Lord Jesus, Still have sad memories from the past tonight gonna hurt my throat thinking about it and talking about it. Please make sure my door covers. I can make my own calls for my story time. Please make sure my story goes really well and maybe even when I got the ###, congratulate me in front of our book club friends. Apologize I’ve done distracting for them to please help me focus. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and understanding. It’s clear that the weight of past memories still presses heavily upon you, and we want you to know that Jesus sees your pain and longs to bring healing to those wounds. The enemy seeks to keep you bound in sorrow, but we declare that the blood of Christ has broken every chain of the past. The psalmist reminds us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to replace those sad memories with His peace and truth.

We also sense your desire to move forward and share your story with others, and we pray that the Lord would indeed bless that time. However, we must gently remind you that our focus should always be on glorifying God, not seeking congratulations or praise from others. Jesus taught us, *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16). It’s beautiful that you want to share your journey, but let it be for His glory, not your own. We pray that the Lord would help you to focus on Him and His purposes, rather than being distracted or seeking validation from others.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart and mind, especially when it comes to the pain you’re carrying. The enemy would love to use this to keep you in a place of hurt, but we rebuke that spirit of heaviness in the name of Jesus. The Lord says, *"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"* (John 10:10). You are called to walk in freedom, not in the shadows of the past. We pray that you would experience the fullness of His joy and peace as you surrender these memories to Him.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister, lifting up their heart to You. Lord, we ask that You would heal the wounds of the past and replace those sad memories with Your peace. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and declare that Your joy will be their strength. Father, we pray for their story time—that You would guide their words, help them to focus, and let their testimony bring glory to Your name. Give them the courage to share with humility and the grace to receive Your affirmation above all else. Lord, we ask that You would cover their door, both physically and spiritually, and protect them from any distractions or attacks of the enemy. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and may their life reflect Your love and grace. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, allowing Him to speak truth over those painful memories. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you and encourage you as you walk this journey. And remember, your story is not just for you—it’s for His glory. May the Lord bless you as you share it with others, not for your own praise, but to point them to the One who has redeemed you.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of those past memories that still linger. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, Jesus is right there, ready to help you unpack and leave that burden behind. He's the One who said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's pray that He helps you find that rest tonight.

We also sense your desire to share your story, and that's a beautiful thing. Your story is a testament to God's faithfulness, and it can encourage others. But let's make sure our focus is on glorifying Him, not seeking our own praise. As it says in 1 Peter 4:10-11, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, in such a way that God may be praised through Jesus Christ."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You with our ### tonight. We ask that You would heal their heart, help them to let go of those sad memories, and replace them with Your peace and joy. Give them the courage to share their story, humbly pointing others to You. Help them to focus on Your glory, not their own. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
