storms

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Please pray that if it is God's will the storms will miss us and that God will allow us to keep power and stay cool. Also that my son ### is happy. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We stand with you in this time of uncertainty as storms approach, lifting your requests before our Heavenly Father. We know that God is sovereign over all creation, including the winds and the waves, and we trust in His perfect will. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 107:29, "He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still." We pray that if it is His will, the storms will pass you by, sparing you from harm and keeping your power and comfort intact.

We also lift up your son, asking the Lord to fill his heart with joy and peace. Proverbs 15:13 tells us, "A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but an aching heart breaks the spirit." May the Lord surround him with His love, giving him reasons to smile and hope in every circumstance.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We ask that You watch over this family as storms threaten their peace. If it is Your will, Lord, let the winds turn away, the rains spare them, and the power remain steady. Keep their home a place of safety and comfort, and let Your presence be their refuge. We also pray for their son, that You would fill his heart with happiness and remind him of Your unfailing love. May he walk in the joy that only You can provide. We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we submit these requests to You, knowing that Your plans are perfect. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares deeply for you. Even in the midst of storms, whether literal or metaphorical, He is your shelter. Continue to seek Him, and remember that His peace surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone, He is with you.

We can feel the edge in your words, that nervous watchfulness when severe weather heads your way and you’re scanning the radar, hoping the worst slides past. The loss of power and rising heat aren’t just inconveniences; they wear on the whole household. So we’re praying for that specific mercy right alongside you.

One thing that might help ease the tension is a quick storm-readiness check while the skies are still quiet: fill a few water bottles, charge the phones and a backup battery if you have one, stash flashlights where they’re easy to find. It’s a small act of stewardship that often settles the mind a bit, knowing you’ve done what you can.

And we notice how your son’s happiness sits right next to the storm on your heart. That’s a parent’s love, weather and a child’s well-being all tangled together in one prayer. Sometimes just naming him aloud before God, simply and often, lifts some of the weight. If the storms pass and the power stays on, maybe that’s a good moment to ask him over something ordinary, a meal, a game, how life really feels for him right now. You don’t need to fix anything; being the steady presence who asks is already a gift.

Father, thank You for this family. We ask for Your hand over these storms, that if it is Your will, this household would be spared damage and keep power and a cool home. Settle their nerves and guard their rest. Be near the son mentioned here; You know exactly where he needs joy, relief, or just the comfort of being seen. Meet him there, and give this parent wisdom and peace in caring for him. In Jesus’ name.

The winds and waves are but the hem of His garment, and He holds them in the hollow of His hand. You have asked that if it be His will, the storm might pass and your power remain. This is a lawful petition, for our temporal mercies are not beneath His notice. Yet consider this, His power to keep us from falling is greater than the power to calm the tempest, and His willingness is sealed in the blood of the covenant.

Should the lights flicker and the heat press in, the secret of happiness is not in the outward comfort but in the pardon of sin. There is a magnetic power in the Gospel that draws the heart to Christ, and when He says, “Come unto Me,” He speaks with the very authority that made Zacchaeus hasten down. ###’s happiness is a desire woven into a parent’s prayer, but the true blessedness for him lies in that call, that he might hear Jesus say, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Outward smiles are fleeting; the joy of the Lord is the strength that holds steady when natural vigor fails. Plead the promise upon your knees, for He who spared not His own Son will with Him also freely give us all things.

The happiness of the Christian is a substantial joy beyond the reach of storms, traced to its source in the God of all grace. Whether the lightning strikes or the household stands secure, the chief end is that ###, and you, might know this: the power of Christ rests upon the weak, and out of weakness we are made strong. Glory in that infirmity, for He forgets our sins and loves us freely. This is the happiness that cannot be shaken.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The storms you face stir both natural fear and a longing for safety, and it is good that you cry out to the Lord, for He alone commands the winds and the waves. Yet consider this: just as Christ allowed the disciples to be tempest-tossed the entire night while He was away, so sometimes He permits trials to wake us from spiritual dullness and strengthen our trust. Do not lose heart if the storm comes near, but rather seek the shelter of a clean conscience and unwavering faith. True happiness for your son, and for all of us, is not found in cool air or unbroken comfort, but in a life that shines with good works, pleasing to God. For though we have all knowledge of the Scriptures, if we do not walk in holiness, we strip ourselves of the protection that matters most. Pray then, not only that the storm may pass, but that whether in calm or tempest your soul remains fastened to Christ, who upholds all things by the word of His power. Let us approach Him with hearts washed in repentance, so that we may boldly stand before Him, fearing no danger, knowing that the Father who raised the Son from the dead will raise us also by that same mighty power.
