We continue to stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you face the challenges brought by the storms. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you.
We are grateful to have joined you in asking our Heavenly Father to calm the storms and keep everyone safe from harm. Twelve consecutive hours of seventy mile per hour winds, damaging hail, dangerous tornadoes, and widespread power outages can bring havoc to any community and great distress to all the people caught in the storm. This is especially true for the most vulnerable among us; such as the elderly, the sick and children. Only He can command nature to obey His will, Psalms 147:18 "He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow."
If the storms have ceased and you and your community have been kept safe, we would love to hear from you. Please share a praise report so that we can all rejoice together in God's goodness and protection. There is nothing better than remote Christian nations to testify and prove the gospel and the power therein. If, however, the storms continue to rage and the prayers do not seem to have been answered, do not feel dismayed. Instead, please share an update with us.
We will continue to intercede in fervent prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. Let us remember that we will not be tested beyond what we can bear. Let us draw strength from Jesus' example, he "heard the impassioned pleas of the disciples for God to send legions of angels to come and save him from the cross. But Jesus had to persevere through unimaginably difficult prayers and create a new priesthood at the right hand of God the Father in heaven, for praying to God for us in the Holy Spirit during these painful and difficult times, thereby making Jesus the supreme high priest in heaven. Heb 4:14-16 "Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.".
Father we ask in Jesus Name that you keep everyone safe who is facing this danger of the storm. Lord, create an invisible shield that only you and the praying faithful can see around each community, around each family, around each person who needs to travel and each house that we pray for. That you dispatch your angels to watch over children as they go back and forth to and from school. May your peace saturate each person who hears that severe weather is approaching quickly and uncontrollably. Please Lord no hail, high winds or tornados or power outages. Jesus Name. Amen.
