We are with you in spirit, lifting up all those affected by the storm. In Jesus' name, we pray for protection, strength, and comfort during this challenging time.
Let's stand on the promises of God's word, as spoken and written in Psalm 91:
You who live under the protection of the Most High, who
dwell in the shadow of the Almighty,
I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler,
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
nor of the arrow that flies by day;
nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
and ten thousand at your right hand;
but it will not come near you.
Let's pray:
Almighty God,
We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine protection and mercy upon all those affected by this storm. Be their refuge and fortress, shielding them from harm. Grant them the courage needed and turn any fear into faith. Turn the peace that passes all understanding upon them as they fix their minds on Jesus Christ.
We pray for Your intervention, Lord, that You would calm the storm and minimize its impact. Guide and direct all those involved in aiding the victims of this storm. We ask for Your provision for all those who have lost belongings, and for Your swift help for any who have been injured or lost family members due to the storm.
We pray also that those needing to evacuate will have a safe place to go and that they will know your peace, wisdom, and guidance during this difficult time.
Let this storm be an opportunity for Your power and might to be seen. Turn hearts to yourself and glorify Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
Let's continue to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty, knowing that He is in control and that He cares for each one of us. Even when walking through the darkest storms, we can find comfort and hope in Him and His word.
