Stopped

Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray that God would stop my family from going on a trip that we cannot afford to go on at all but my parents are fixated on trying to go because they have been manipulated into wanting to go by people who have done so under the influence of Satan. My father has been so manipulated (and there is possibly spiritual warfare influencing/clouding his thinking) that I'm being told that he is now extremely worried and saying that if my mother and I don't come with him on this trip or aren't able to go, he'll go by himself which is NOT a good idea. Please pray for a STOP to all this. Thank you.

Where’s Mother?
The Christian Mother
Satan On His Travels
We hear the burden you are carrying for your family and we join you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand the distress of watching your parents feel pressured toward a financial decision that could bring harm, and the worry over your father's anxious statement that he will go alone if you and your mother do not go with him.

God cares deeply about both our financial stewardship and our peace of mind. His Word teaches us to be diligent and wise with what He has provided. Proverbs 21:5 says the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit, and where there is haste, surely it leads to poverty. Romans 13:8 reminds us to owe no one anything, except to love one another, and Proverbs 15:22 tells us without consultation, plans fail, but in the multitude of counselors they are established. It is not wise or honoring to God to go into debt or beyond our means because of pressure from others, even when the desire to go seems strong. We also hear your concern about manipulation and spiritual influence. Scripture is clear that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places from Ephesians 6:12. The enemy does seek to confuse, to pressure, and to steal peace, and we rebuke that influence in Jesus' name. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says, and we pray that any clouding of thinking or anxiety that has taken hold of your father would be lifted.

We also want to encourage you to continue to honor your father and mother as Exodus 20:12 commands, even while speaking the truth in love as Ephesians 4:15 teaches. Honoring them does not mean agreeing to an unwise financial path, but it does mean approaching them with respect, gentleness, and calm, honest communication about the real costs and risks, and seeking wise counsel together. If you have a trusted pastor or godly counselor, we encourage you to invite your parents to seek that counsel with you. James 1:5 promises if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Philippians 4:6-7 calls us in nothing to be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over your home right now.

We noticed your request asked God to intervene but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently point this out because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing on Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him and to come boldly before God in His name.

We pray together now for you and your family. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your will to be done in this situation. We ask that You would close the door firmly if this trip is not of You and not within the means You have provided, and that You would give clear discernment to each member of this family. We rebuke any manipulative influence and any work of the enemy that seeks to pressure, confuse, or create anxiety, and we ask You to replace fear with Your perfect peace and clarity of mind for this father. Lord, protect him from making an unwise or unsafe decision to go alone, and surround this family with Your protection and wisdom. Give them unity, humble hearts to listen to one another, and courage to make a financially faithful decision that honors You. Provide for their needs according to Your riches and teach them to be good stewards. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says. We trust You to lead and to stop what needs to be stopped. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing, to keep speaking with love and respect to your parents about the practical realities, and to trust that God is able to intervene, to provide wisdom, and to guard your family from harm.

We hear how heavy this has felt for you, carrying both the financial worry and the concern for your father. Wanting to protect your family while also feeling caught between your parents is a hard place to be, and we are praying with you for wisdom and peace in your home.

It makes sense that your father's talk of going alone has added to your burden. When money is tight and everyone feels pressure from different directions, conversations can quickly become tense and it is hard to hear each other clearly.

One thing that has helped other families in a similar spot is to find a calm, unhurried time to look at the practical side together. Writing down the real costs of the trip on paper and what it would mean for your household in the coming months can make the concerns more concrete for everyone, and it gives your father a chance to share what is driving his worry as well. If it feels possible, inviting a trusted pastor or wise family friend to sit with you for that conversation can help keep it steady and ensure everyone feels heard.

We are also praying for calm in your father's heart and for unity as you seek the Lord's direction together, even if the answer is not what everyone first hoped for.

Father, we lift this family to You. You see the financial strain and the anxiety weighing on this father. Give each of them clear minds, gentle words with one another, and wisdom for the decision ahead. Guard their relationships and guide them toward what is best and most peaceful under Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord with deep sympathy, and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf.

We understand the heaviness you feel as you watch those you love pressed toward a course which wisdom and faithful stewardship cannot justify. It is required of a steward that he be found faithful, and every family is entrusted by God with means not as its own to spend as it pleases, but as the Master's goods to be used with prudence and honesty before Him. When the heart becomes fixated upon a desire which outruns provision, it soon mistakes what belongs to the Master for its own, and falls into a muddle which brings only anxiety and sorrow. We pray that the Lord, who is both the power of God and the wisdom of God, will grant to your parents and to you a path of wisdom consistent with the truth of God and the glory of God, for that path is never closed to His children.

We have asked that if this journey is not of the Lord and would bring harm or needless debt, He would in His sovereign mercy put a stop to it. He who could cause the cities round about Jacob to be held back so that none dared touch His anointed is able still to hedge up a way that should not be taken. He often in His kindness does what was described as drifting His people from the path they have chosen into the path they would have chosen had they been possessed of the wisdom of the Infinite. We pray that He would so gently and firmly redirect your father's thoughts, calm his worried spirit, and remove the cloud of confusion which now troubles him.

We have also prayed against every influence which would manipulate or mislead. The enemy seeks to sow discord and rash resolve in families, but Christ has built the heavens by wisdom and He is able to give light to those who sit in perplexity. May the Lord grant your father clearness of mind, peace in place of fretting, and a willingness to heed godly counsel. May He guard him from going forth alone in a way that would be unwise and unsafe, and may He knit your family together in unity and love, that you may be of one mind in seeking first His kingdom.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who dwells in fullness of power and glory, look upon this family now burdened and divided in purpose. Thou seest the pressure upon them and the anxiety that has taken hold. We ask Thee to interpose Thy hand. If this trip be not for their good and not within the provision Thou hast given them, stop it we pray Thee, by Thy providence and by giving a change of heart. Give to this father and mother wisdom from above, quietness of spirit, and ears to hear Thy voice. Deliver them from every snare and from every voice that would lead them astray, and lead them Thyself onward and upward in the divine life. Let Thy peace rule in their home, let faithful stewardship be honored, and let love which descends from Heaven bind them together. Keep them as one family under Thy care, absent none from Thy presence, and guide their feet into Thy statutes. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our wisdom and our keeper, Amen.

Take courage and continue in prayer, speaking the truth in love within your household, seeking wise and calm counsel together, and resting in the promise that He who quickened us into life will keep us and lead us till we come to the Celestial City.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and I am joining you in prayer before the Lord for you and your family.

I understand the heavy burden you are carrying. To watch those you love feel pressed toward a costly decision, to feel anxiety rising in your home, and to worry for your father's safety if he goes alone, is a great weight. Scripture speaks of such burdens. The Lord Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. What you describe, this cycle of anxiety and pressure and fear about money and the future, is the opposite of that rest. It is a heavy burden, and it shows how much you need Christ's peace and wisdom in this moment.

I am praying that God in his mercy would intervene and stop what should be stopped. I am asking him to bring clarity where there is confusion, to guard your father's mind and heart from any deception or undue influence, and to protect him from making a rash decision to go alone when it would not be safe or wise. I am praying that the Lord would give your parents eyes to see the true cost of this trip, and the grace to be good stewards of what he has provided, and that he would remove any pressure that is pushing them toward what you cannot afford.

I am also praying for peace and unity in your home. The Scripture calls us to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. This is a time to bear with one another in patience and love, even while you speak the truth. Continue to speak calmly and respectfully to your parents about the financial reality, and seek wise counsel together, perhaps from a pastor or another trusted and godly person who can help you all weigh this decision with clear minds. Fear can make the soul feel prostrate, especially when there is no one to help carry the load, so do not carry this alone. Invite that help.

May the Lord grant you all rest from this turmoil, guide your family to the decision that honors him and protects your household, and guard your hearts from fear. May he turn anxiety into trust, and may you know his presence as you wait on him to make the right path clear.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift this family to you. Stop what needs to be stopped. Grant wisdom, unity, and provision. Protect this father and this whole household from harm and from every influence that would lead them away from your peace. Give them rest for their souls as they trust in you. Amen.

Your request reveals a deep love and concern for your family, and the weight you are carrying is understood. It is painful to watch those you love feel pulled toward a decision that would bring financial harm, and to see worry and fixation take hold, especially when one family member is determined to go ahead even alone. That kind of strain can leave the whole household feeling unsettled and helpless.

Scripture shows that God is not distant from financial hardship or family pressures. He knows what it is to provide for a family with very little, and Jesus himself lived without abundance, even needing to borrow a coin to make a point. The Lord cares about stewardship and wisdom with resources, and He also cares about the unity and peace of a household. When a family seeks Him together, talking about His word and His ways with open hearts, He brings a clarity and a oneness that cannot be manufactured by pressure from outside. He also understands when thinking becomes clouded and when influences that are not of Him try to push and manipulate. In those moments He is still the one who can guard minds, quiet anxiety, and make a way for truth to be seen clearly.

I have prayed for you and will continue to pray that God would intervene in this situation according to His wisdom and mercy. I have asked that He would place a clear stop to any plan that would harm your family financially or physically, and that He would protect your father from acting alone in a way that would put him at risk. I have prayed that any confusion, worry, or outside influence that is clouding judgment would be lifted, and that your parents would be given sound minds, calm hearts, and a willingness to see the reality of the cost. I have asked that the Lord would give all of you a shared peace about what is right, and that He would provide wise counsel around you to help confirm that decision. Above all, I have prayed that your family would experience His protection as your kinsman redeemer, the one who preserves and provides, and that you would know His nearness as you trust Him to lead.

May the Lord give you strength to continue to love your family well, to speak truth gently, and to rest in His ability to do what you cannot do on your own. Keep seeking Him, keep praying together as you are able, and trust that He hears and will answer in the way that is best for you.
