We hear your heart in this difficult situation and we join together with you before the Father seeking His mercy and wisdom as you face health issues and the heavy burden of a house contract you now realize you cannot afford. We know how overwhelming it can feel when health and finances collide and we want to lift you up and also encourage you to walk in integrity and trust before the Lord.
We want to gently point out that your request asks God for help but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name for every need.
The Bible teaches us to be faithful and honest in our agreements while also trusting God to be our provider and help in trouble. When we make a vow or sign a contract God calls us to honor it if we can, as it is written he who swears to his own hurt, and does not change Psalm 15:4, yet He also calls us to be wise stewards and not take on burdens beyond what He has provided. We encourage you to act quickly, honestly and transparently with all parties involved. Speak openly with your real estate agent, the seller and if possible a Christian attorney or legal aid counselor about your health situation and inability to proceed, and seek to find a lawful and gracious way forward rather than through deception or avoidance. The Lord honors honesty and humility.
We also hear your anxiety about health and finances and we want to remind you of God's care for you. He invites us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are called to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. You can cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22 for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is facing health struggles and the weight of a house purchase they cannot afford. Lord You see their health needs and their financial limits and You know the details of this contract. We ask for Your mercy and favor. If it is Your will, make a way for this contract to be null and void without penalty or harm to others, and soften the hearts of the sellers and agents to show grace and understanding. Grant wisdom to everyone involved and guide our friend to godly counsel and right legal help. Father we also pray for healing and strength for their body, for peace to replace fear, and for provision for their true needs. Help them to walk in honesty and integrity in all their dealings and to trust You as their provider and healer. We ask that they would know the peace that comes through Jesus and that they would seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness knowing that all these things will be given to them as well Matthew 6:33. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep praying in Jesus name, to seek wise counsel immediately regarding the contract, and to rest in the Lord's promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Trust that even in this uncertainty God is working for your good as you trust in Him Romans 8:28.
