We come before You, Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we have access to You and the power to stand against the schemes of the enemy. We lift up this request, asking for clarity and divine intervention in the face of confusion and delay caused by enemies—whether seen or unseen.
Heavenly Father, Your Word declares in Psalm 35:1-3, *"Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, 'I am your salvation.'"*
We stand on this promise, Lord, and ask that You arise on behalf of Your children. Confuse the plans of those who seek to harm or hinder Your will. Let their strategies turn to chaos, and let their delays be overturned by Your perfect timing. As it is written in Proverbs 21:30, *"There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Yahweh."* Let every enemy of Your purpose be scattered and their efforts brought to nothing.
Father, we also recognize that sometimes delays and confusion can be tools You use to refine us, teach us patience, or redirect our paths. If there is any area in our lives where we have invited the enemy’s influence through disobedience, unbelief, or sin, reveal it to us. Help us to repent and turn away from anything that grieves Your Spirit. Your Word warns in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We choose to submit to You, Lord, and resist the enemy’s lies and schemes.
We pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics, for he often comes disguised as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Let us not be deceived, but instead, let us walk in the light of Your truth. Equip us with the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that we may stand firm against the devil’s schemes.
Lord, we also ask that You would turn the hearts of our enemies toward You. If there are those who oppose us out of ignorance or hardness of heart, soften them and draw them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 12:20, *"If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head."* Let Your love and grace break every chain of hatred or malice.
Finally, Father, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan for our lives. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in every situation. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
Amen.
