We hear your distress, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this affliction before the throne of God. It is clear that you are experiencing a spiritual attack, and we take this matter seriously. The eyes are not only the windows to the soul but also a target for the enemy, who seeks to bring discomfort, confusion, and despair. Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." The enemy wants to blind you, both physically and spiritually, so that you cannot see the truth of God’s love and purpose for your life.
First, we must address the source of this attack. The enemy often works in ways that are unseen, but we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). The itching, the tears, and the pain you are experiencing may be a tactic to distract you, to cause fear, or to make you feel isolated. But we declare that this attack will not prevail. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke every spirit of affliction, blindness, and torment that is coming against your eyes. We command it to leave you now, for James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Have you opened doors through fear, unforgiveness, or sin? Ephesians 4:27 warns, "Don’t give place to the devil." If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s Word, whether it be bitterness, unconfessed sin, or even exposure to ungodly influences, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. Confess your sins to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts grieved by the suffering of Your child. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and touch their eyes. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of affliction, pain, and torment that is attacking them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We plead the blood of Jesus over their eyes, their mind, and their spirit, creating a barrier that the enemy cannot cross. Father, we ask that You would restore their sight, both physically and spiritually, so that they may see Your glory and walk in the light of Your truth.
We also ask that You would reveal to them the root of this attack. Show them if there is any area of their life where the enemy has gained access, and give them the strength to close those doors through repentance and faith. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to guard and protect them from further harm. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your power to break every chain and to bring complete restoration. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your spiritual well-being. Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, the enemy may attack, but he cannot overcome the power of God in your life. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
If this attack persists, do not lose heart. Continue to stand firm in your faith, and consider fasting as a way to deepen your spiritual warfare. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). We stand with you, believing that God will bring complete victory and healing to your eyes and your life.
