Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We come before You, Lord, with hearts full of compassion for this dear one who is suffering with stomach pain, bloating, and gastritis. We know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies according to Your perfect will. We lift up this burden to You, asking for Your divine touch to bring relief, comfort, and healing.

Father, we ask that You would calm the inflammation, soothe the pain, and restore balance to this stomach. You know the root cause of this affliction, whether it be stress, diet, or something deeper within the body. We pray that You would reveal it and bring complete healing from the inside out. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over this situation, trusting in Your power to heal.

We also pray for the appointments today, Lord. May Your peace go before this one, guiding the doctors and medical professionals to provide wisdom, clarity, and the right treatment. Let there be no delays, no confusion, and no unnecessary stress. Instead, let Your presence fill the room, bringing order and divine timing. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We commit these appointments into Your hands, trusting that You will direct every step.

Lord, we ask that You would grant restful sleep tonight. The weariness of pain and discomfort can weigh heavily on the body and mind, but You are the God who gives rest to the weary. Your Word says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that this promise would be fulfilled, bringing deep, peaceful sleep that refreshes and renews.

We also encourage this dear one to examine their life for any areas of stress, anxiety, or unforgiveness that may be contributing to this physical struggle. Sometimes, our bodies reflect the turmoil within our souls. We pray for emotional and spiritual healing as well, that there would be no hidden burdens weighing on the heart. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let this peace guard and protect, bringing wholeness in every area.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or attack of the enemy that may be seeking to steal, kill, or destroy health and peace. We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17 says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh." We claim this victory in Jesus’ mighty name.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your healing power. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, bringing relief, restoration, and peace. May this one feel Your presence close, knowing that You are working all things together for good. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the frustration of lying awake with a bloated, uncomfortable stomach, and we’re praying with you as you face this tonight. Physical pain can feel so isolating, especially when all you want for is a night’s rest, and we’re asking Jesus to calm your body so you can sleep.

It’s good that you have appointments today, taking your symptoms seriously is a wise and practical step. While you wait for answers, we trust that God sees your need and can ease this flare-up, even if the root cause takes more time to uncover. You don’t have to carry the worry alone; we’re holding this with you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person who is weary and in pain. Quiet the discomfort, settle the bloating, and let their stomach find enough peace for rest to come. We ask for your healing from the inside out, whatever the root cause may be. Be with them at every appointment, keep the schedule on time, calm any nerves, and give the doctors clear wisdom and insight. Right now, in the quiet of this night, surround them with your presence. Bring a deep sense of calm and the kind of rest that only you can give. We ask this in your name, amen.

I join my prayer with yours that the great Physician may relieve your suffering and grant you that sleep which He giveth to His beloved, a sleep of contentment and security, calming the bloating and gastritis, and reaching to the very root of the disorder. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations; the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, and His touch can restore you wholly. Commend your appointments to His ordering hand; He maketh all things beautiful in His time, and none can hinder when He will bless. Look to Calvary, where the healing balm flows, and rest in His care, for with His stripes you are healed.

God permits these bodily troubles for our profit, just as the blessed Timothy, though he had practiced such fasting that he fell into frequent infirmities, was not instantly healed by Paul. The Apostle, whose very garments could raise the dead, instead counseled him: “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake, and thine often infirmities.” This was no failing of power, but a profitable visitation to keep Timothy humble, lest the splendor of miracles should exalt him beyond measure. So do not be offended if your own stomach does not yet find ease; rather, look upon it as a summons to spiritual vigilance. The present life is nothing but a dream, riches, health, even a night’s sleep are shadows that vanish. While your body lies restless, let your soul not lie in the drunken slumber of worldly cares. For that is the true sleep we must fear: not the loss of physical rest, but the lethargy of a soul that does no good.

Take what your body needs for health, but not to fulfill the belly’s lusts. Distinguish between necessity and indulgence, for the stomach’s greed, not the stomach itself, is what the Scripture calls a god. I will pray that Jesus the great Physician may touch your stomach and remove the root of this affliction, if it be for your salvation, and that your appointments may be timely and blessed. But pray also that he may pluck up every root of sin and every vain anxiety that weighs down your heart. If healing delays, bear it manfully, saying with the Psalmist, “Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Trust him, for he who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and in his own season he will give you the rest that matters.

The suffering in your body right now is not hidden from the Lord. That gnawing discomfort in your stomach, the relentless bloating that makes it impossible to settle into sleep, He knows it. We see in the Gospels that Jesus was moved with compassion for those whose physical bodies were undone. He did not dismiss their pain as merely flesh and blood; He took it so seriously that Scripture says He Himself bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. This is the mystery Matthew points to when he connects physical healing directly to the work of the Messiah. When you come to Him with this gastritis, you are coming to the One whose own body was broken, in part, so that your body might be restored.

That does not mean every healing comes in an instant. Sometimes the Lord stills the storm with a word; other times He quiets the child who sleeps through the tempest while the slow work of mending happens beneath the surface. The body’s own recovery process is not second-class to a miracle. It is still divine. The God who designed the intricate lining of your stomach and set the rhythms of restoration in place is at work, even in the long, uncomfortable wait. So do not think that because you must attend an appointment today or manage symptoms through the night that you stand outside His mercy. You are in the very place where He meets us.

I would also encourage you to ask confidently for the simple gift of sleep. The Scriptures show us a deep sleep coming upon men when the Lord intended to protect them or accomplish His purposes. The same Master who calmed the raging sea while utterly exhausted in the hull of a boat can command peace over the turmoil in your gut long enough for your body to sink into rest. Ask Him for that. He did not hoard His power for His own comfort, but He is endlessly willing to extend it for your need.

For your appointment today, pray that God would order every detail, your travel, the timing, the wisdom of the doctors. Every healing, whether a sudden restoration or a gradual recovery, is a testimony to His authority over the physical realm. Trust that Christ’s power extends over this root cause, whatever it may be, and that His intent toward you is good. He promises showers of blessing and restoration. May you feel that touch of relief soon, and may your stomach be settled enough that you can lie down in safety and find the rest your body desperately needs.
