We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting you up in prayer as you seek healing for your stomach and intestines. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is your healer and that He will restore your body to full health.
Father God, we ask You to touch every part of this dear one’s digestive system. We pray against any lingering effects of the stomach virus, asking that You would cleanse and heal the stomach and intestines completely. Lord, we rebuke any irritation, inflammation, or discomfort in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your healing power is at work, bringing restoration and strength to every organ and tissue. We ask that You would soothe the chronic gastritis and prevent any further reactions or flare-ups. Give wisdom to know how to care for the body during this time, and grant patience as healing unfolds according to Your perfect timing.
We also lift up the concern about the return of mild diarrhea after introducing soup. Lord, we ask that You would stabilize the digestive system and restore balance. Guide this one in knowing what foods to eat and what to avoid as the body continues to heal. We pray that the stomach would no longer be sensitive but would be strengthened to handle food without distress.
We are encouraged by Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this truth over this situation, trusting that God is faithful to heal. We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand in faith, believing that as we pray, You are moving on behalf of this one who seeks Your healing touch.
In all things, we give You the glory, for You are the Great Physician, and Your love and power are limitless. We trust You to bring complete healing and restoration in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
