Thank you for sharing these specific needs. I have brought your stomach, your teeth and gums, and your eyes before the Lord in prayer, asking for His mercy and His healing touch upon you.
The Scriptures show Jesus healing many who were sick and afflicted, and Matthew points us to the prophecy in Isaiah that He has borne our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That truth reminds us that physical healing is part of what Christ has taken upon Himself, and it gives us confidence to come to Him and ask. We believe God is able to heal today, and that every healing, whether it comes in a moment or through a process, is from His hand.
At the same time the Bible keeps us from making promises God has not made or putting burdens on those who suffer. The apostle John's words about prospering and being in health were his loving desire for a friend whose soul was prospering, not a guarantee that every prayer for health will be answered exactly as we ask. Jesus sometimes healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, and sometimes healing came gradually. God has also built healing processes into our bodies, and that natural restoration is no less divine because He is the one who created it. There is much we do not understand about why some are healed quickly and others are not, even when we see Paul praying three times for his thorn in the flesh and Paul himself leaving a close companion sick nearly to death. It is wrong to say that sickness remains because of hidden sin or lack of faith. Healing is a sovereign work of God, and we rest in His wisdom and love even as we keep asking.
So I am praying for you specifically, that the nausea would leave and that your stomach would be settled, with normal acid and no gastritis or irritation. I am praying that all inflammation, swelling, pain and irritation in your gums and teeth would be removed. And I am praying that the Lord would grant you clear, perfect eyesight. I ask Him to touch you according to His will, whether in an instant or through the gradual healing He has ordained, and to give you peace as you trust Him.
Continue to seek Him and to walk closely with Jesus, for the health of the soul is the deepest need. If you are able, invite the elders to pray for you as James directs, anointing with oil and praying in faith. God hears the prayers of His people, and we trust Him to do what is best, knowing He loves you and is able to do more than we ask.
