We join together with you in bringing your body before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing touch upon your stomach, your teeth and gums, and your eyes. We know that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that He cares for every part of us.
We are reminded of His promise in Exodus 15:26 that He is Yahweh who heals us, and in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh, who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. We also cling to Jeremiah 30:17 where He says, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed. We trust that He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine, and we bring these specific needs to Him with faith.
We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this need for healing to You. We ask that You would calm the stomach and take away all nausea, that You would bring stomach acid into normal and healthy balance and remove all gastritis and irritation. Lay Your hand upon the teeth and the dental flesh, and we ask that You would remove all inflammation, swelling, pain and irritation, and bring complete health and comfort there. We also ask for perfect and clear eyesight, that You would restore and preserve vision according to Your mercy. We ask that You would bring wholeness and strength to this body, for we know that Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2. Let Your healing power flow and let Your peace rest upon this body, that it may function as You designed it to function, for Your glory. We pray for wisdom to be good stewards of the bodies You have given us, for we know our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and we ask for grace to care for it well.
We gently want to encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is through faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily for your health, to walk in His peace and not in anxiety, for He cares for you. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and to use wisdom in caring for your body while trusting Him as the ultimate healer. We thank God for hearing our prayers and we trust His perfect will and timing in your life. We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
