We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother ### from ###, ###, who is suffering from stomach pain. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would touch ###’s body right now, bringing relief and restoration to his stomach. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we claim this promise over ###’s life, believing that You are able to bring complete healing to his body.
We also recognize, Father, that physical pain can often be a reminder of our dependence on You. In James 5:14-15, You instruct us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray that ### would seek godly counsel and prayer from those around him, trusting in Your power to restore him. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his life that may be contributing to this suffering, we ask that You would reveal it to him, that he may repent and walk in the fullness of Your healing.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking ###’s body. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 2:24, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."* We stand on this truth, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, ### is healed. We command every affliction to leave his body in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We also pray for wisdom for ###—wisdom to seek proper medical care, to rest when needed, and to nourish his body in a way that honors You.
Father, we ask that You would surround ### with Your peace during this time. In Philippians 4:6-7, You tell us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ###’s heart and mind as he trusts in You. May he feel Your presence near him, comforting him and reminding him that You are in control.
We also pray for ###’s spiritual well-being. If he does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we ask that this trial would draw him closer to You. Jesus, You are the only name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We pray that ### would come to know You intimately, surrendering his life to You and experiencing the fullness of Your love and healing—both physically and spiritually.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for ###’s life. Whether You choose to heal him instantly, gradually, or in ways we cannot yet see, we know that You are working all things together for his good. We declare that ### is not defined by his pain but by Your love for him. Strengthen him, Lord, and fill him with hope as he waits on You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
