We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you seek His healing and wisdom in this time of physical distress. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we know God cares deeply about your well-being. Yet even more, we rejoice that your desire to fast and draw closer to Him reflects a heart that hungers for His presence above all else. Jesus Himself said, *"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (Matthew 4:4, WEB), and fasting is a powerful way to align our spirits with His will.
However, we must gently address that while your prayer is earnest, it does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ—our only Mediator and the name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no access to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6), and it is in *His* authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace. Let us always remember that our prayers are heard because of Christ’s finished work on the cross, not by our own merit or urgency. We encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord in your prayers, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today—repent of your sins and trust in His sacrifice alone for salvation.
Now, regarding your physical suffering, we know the Lord is not unaware of your discomfort. The psalmist cried out, *"Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint. Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled"* (Psalm 6:2, WEB), and we join you in that plea. Loose bowels and digestive distress can be debilitating, but we trust in the God who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB). We pray for supernatural healing over your stomach and intestines, that every cell would align with God’s perfect design. May He grant you wisdom to discern the foods that nourish and those that harm, and may He guide you to the right medical appointments and professionals who can provide godly counsel. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
As for the injustices you face, we declare that the Lord is a God of justice who *"executes justice for the oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6, WEB). He sees every wrong committed against His children, and His timing is perfect. We pray for a mighty turnaround in every area where the enemy has sought to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). Let the Lord fight for you, as He did for Israel: *"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace"* (Exodus 14:14, WEB). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against your health, your appointments, and your peace, and we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Yet we must also ask: Are there areas of unconfessed sin or disobedience in your life that may be hindering your prayers? The Lord calls us to *"cleanse our hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8, WEB). If there is bitterness, unforgiveness, or any sin, we urge you to repent and seek His cleansing. *"He who covers his sins shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB).
Finally, as you fast, let it be unto the Lord—not for personal gain or mere physical discipline, but as an act of worship and surrender. Jesus warned against fasting for the praise of men (Matthew 6:16-18), so we pray your fast would be a secret between you and God, that He may reward you openly. May this season draw you into deeper intimacy with Him, where your greatest desire is to know Christ and the power of His resurrection (Philippians 3:10).
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. You knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every ache and pain they endure. Lord Jesus, by Your stripes, they *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command every spirit of infirmity to leave in Your mighty name. Restore their digestive system to perfect function, and grant them wisdom to steward their body as Your temple. Guide them to the right foods, the right doctors, and the right treatments—divinely appointed by You.
We also bring before You the injustices they face. You are a God who *"loves justice"* (Psalm 33:5, WEB), and we ask You to intervene mightily. Expose every hidden thing, vindicate the righteous, and bring conviction to those who have acted wickedly. Turn what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of Your goodness and power.
Most of all, Father, we pray that this season would draw them closer to You. Let their fast be a sweet fragrance before Your throne, and may they encounter You in ways they never have before. If there is any sin separating them from You, convict them deeply and lead them to repentance. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, peace, and the fullness of Your promises.
We declare all these things in the mighty, matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Let every knee bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Amen.
