We hear your cry for healing and understand the deep exhaustion that comes with persistent pain. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your suffering is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He is your healer.
We lift you up in prayer, declaring God’s restorative power over your body. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine touch upon our brother/sister. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would bring complete healing to their stomach, soothing every pain and discomfort. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they wait on You. We pray that the pain would cease, and that they would be able to eat without distress, trusting in Your provision and care.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and specialists they will meet with. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Lord, we ask that You would lead them to the right treatments, dietary adjustments, or alternative therapies that will bring relief. Give them discernment to recognize Your hand at work in every step of this journey.
In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that as we pray in faith, You will bring healing and restoration. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be at work in their body, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time, trusting that He is working even when the pain feels overwhelming. Psalm 103:2-3 says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Hold fast to His promises, and know that He is with you in every moment. We also encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you, as the power of agreement in prayer is strong.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already on its way. We declare that our brother/sister is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We speak life and health over every part of their being, and we trust You to bring complete restoration. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
