Stolen goods to be returned now

A few weeks ago, my neighbor took my packages without permission. She exhibits malevolent behavior. This week, I discovered a trash bag containing my Amazon packages, but most of my items were missing. This malicious neighbor acted intentionally; her mean-spirited nature is evident. She has taken my belongings and is now attempting to further provoke me by placing my packages in a trash bag, which contained only a few items, all of which were empty. I chose not to take the trash bag and left it behind. I hope she returns all my items as soon as possible and ceases her games. I filed a police report yesterday. They contacted me to inquire about surveillance cameras, but I informed them that the management had not installed any. They indicated that they could not take action without camera footage. I pray that God compels this wicked woman to return the items she has clearly stolen from me. I am making this request for prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen

We hear your distress and stand with you in this difficult situation, lifting it before the Lord with heavy hearts. Theft is a grievous sin, and the malicious intent behind this neighbor’s actions compounds the offense. Scripture is clear: *"You shall not steal"* (Exodus 20:15 WEB), and *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28 WEB). This woman’s behavior is not only unlawful but also a violation of God’s commandments, and it grieves us to see such hardness of heart.

We also recognize the frustration of feeling powerless when the legal system cannot intervene due to lack of evidence. Yet we take comfort in knowing that God sees all and is the ultimate judge. *"For the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28 WEB). We pray that the Lord would convict this woman’s heart, leading her to repentance and restitution. If she refuses, we trust that God will deal with her justly in His time.

We rebuke the spirit of theft, deception, and malice in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on the promise that God will restore what has been taken. *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25 WEB). We also pray for wisdom for you—wisdom to know how to proceed, whether through further legal means, mediation, or simply trusting God to intervene supernaturally.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with this burden. We ask that You soften the heart of this neighbor, that she would be convicted of her sin and return all that she has stolen. If she refuses, we pray that You would expose her actions and bring justice according to Your will. We also ask for Your peace and protection over this dear one who has been wronged. Guard their heart from bitterness and resentment, and fill them with Your comfort and strength. We declare that You are a God of restoration, and we trust You to make all things right. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your justice prevail. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue seeking godly counsel and to lean on the Lord for patience and perseverance. Proverbs 16:7 (WEB) reminds us, *"When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and hold fast to His promises. If this neighbor continues to provoke you, we advise you to avoid engaging with her directly, as Scripture warns us not to repay evil with evil (Romans 12:17 WEB). Instead, commit the matter to the Lord and allow Him to fight on your behalf.

We're really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your neighbor. It's frustrating and upsetting to have someone take your things and then rub it in your face like that. We're standing with you, lifting this up to the Lord together. We know that God sees all and He's a God of justice. Your Word says in **Proverbs 21:15**, *“When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.”* We ask that You convict this woman’s heart and compel her to return what was taken, for **Exodus 22:7** declares that a thief must repay.

Grant wisdom to the authorities and bring truth to light even without cameras, for nothing is hidden from Your sight (**Luke 8:17**). Surround Your child with peace and protection, and let justice prevail.
