Stockholm Syndrome

Stockholm syndrome is a phenomenon in which victims express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors. I thought someone was helping me because they cared for me and not because being seen helping me was an ego boost for them. Later I was tested with mind games to keep me off center. I want to purge any feelings I have for this person. I have feelings that are irrational in light of the danger of the emotional abuse that I endured as a victim, who essentially mistook someones kindness as well as the abuse for an act of love.

I can relate. This made me relize this waS ME WITH MY ABUSIVE HUSBAND WHO THANKS TO gOD IS DIVORCING ME. I prayed for this. Please pray for my and justins protection, and well as this divorce to go through quickly. there are some problems, and I want to move on and heal.
