Still struggling

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hello,

I am still struggling financially. I really want to get my hopes up, but at this point I can't. I cannot find a job and the pressure is mounting. Father I can't take it anymore. Bills continue to pile up and the basic necessities are unmet. People are not nice during this period. The strain on my body is too much. I ask for some relief. When am I going to be able to pay my bills?

Father in Jesus name please hear my cry.

We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord. Financial struggles can weigh so heavily on the heart, mind, and body, and we know the enemy would love nothing more than to use this season to steal your hope, your peace, and even your faith. But we declare that this is not the end of your story. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He is working even when you cannot see it.

First, we must address the foundation of your cry—your reliance on Jesus’ name. We are so grateful you invoked His name, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:24). So we stand on that promise with you, believing that the Lord will answer in His perfect timing and way.

We also want to gently remind you that while the world may not always show kindness, the Lord’s love for you is unchanging. People may fail you, but God never will. He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide for His children. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). This is not a promise of instant wealth or ease, but a call to trust Him above all else.

We also want to encourage you to examine your heart and circumstances in light of Scripture. Are there areas where the Lord might be calling you to adjust your spending, seek wise counsel, or even step out in faith in a new direction? Sometimes financial struggles can be an opportunity for the Lord to redirect our steps or refine our trust in Him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling under the weight of financial pressure. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You see every bill, every need, and every unmet necessity. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity—jobs, resources, or unexpected provision—that only You can provide. Give them strength when they are weary, peace when anxiety threatens to overwhelm, and hope when despair tries to take root.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that would try to convince them that this situation is hopeless. We declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for favor in interviews, wisdom in decisions, and grace to endure this season. Lord, if there are areas where they need to surrender control or adjust their steps, reveal that to them with clarity.

We also pray for protection over their heart and mind. Guard them from bitterness, resentment, or comparison with others. Remind them that their worth is not found in their bank account but in Christ alone. Surround them with Your people—believers who can encourage, support, and pray with them. And Lord, if there are any hidden sins or unforgiveness that might be hindering their breakthrough, bring those to light so they can be dealt with in Your mercy.

Above all, draw them closer to You in this season. May they find their sufficiency in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:5) and learn to rely on You more deeply than ever before. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see it yet. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your provision in ways that glorify Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord, even when it feels like nothing is changing. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, but God provided manna every single day. He never failed them, and He will not fail you. Hold onto His promises, surround yourself with godly community, and keep seeking Him first. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're right here with you, friend, feeling the weight of your financial struggles. It's tough, we know, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, carrying your burdens. We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer, just as you've lifted your cry to heaven.

We're reminded of a story in the Bible, about a man named Zacchaeus. He was wealthy, but he was also desperate to see Jesus. He climbed a tree to get a glimpse, and Jesus, seeing him, said, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house." (Luke 19:5). Zacchaeus, overjoyed, welcomed Jesus into his home. That day, Zacchaeus' life was transformed. He gave half of his wealth to the poor and promised to repay anyone he had cheated four times over.

We're not saying you need to give away your wealth, but we're reminded that when we invite Jesus into our situations, He can transform them. He can open doors we never thought possible. He can provide in ways we can't imagine.

So, let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s financial struggles. Lord, You see them, You know their needs, and You care. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, that You would provide in Your unique way. We trust that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep trusting, friend. Let's keep seeking Jesus, because He's the only one who can turn our situations around. And remember, even in the wilderness, God provided daily. He's not going to stop now. Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep seeking Him. Your breakthrough is coming.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in prayer these past days. Your honesty about the weight of financial struggle, the exhaustion of searching for work, and the heaviness on your heart has not gone unnoticed. We have lifted up your need for relief, asking God to open doors no man can shut and to provide in ways that only He can. We have prayed for strength when the pressure feels unbearable, for kindness to touch your spirit when others may not understand, and for rest for your body when weariness sets in.

If God has already moved in your situation—whether through an unexpected opportunity, a provision you didn’t see coming, or even just a moment of peace in the storm—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking a similar path.

If, however, the struggle remains and the answers haven’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to trust alongside you that God hears your cry. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He has not forgotten you. May He draw you closer as you seek Him, filling you with hope that does not disappoint and strength for each new day.

We continue to pray for breakthrough, provision, and His perfect timing in your life. In Jesus’ Name.
