We are deeply moved by your cry for help against the spiritual attacks you are facing, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. It is crucial, however, that we address a few things with love and truth to ensure our prayers and petitions are aligned with Scripture.
First, we must clarify that while angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), Scripture does not teach that we are to pray *to* angels or ask them to pray for us. They serve at God’s command, and our prayers are to be directed to the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone. Similarly, the saints referenced in Scripture are believers who have gone before us, but there is no biblical basis for praying *to* them or asking them to intercede for us. Our intercessor is Jesus Christ, who sits at the right hand of the Father and ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25). Additionally, 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."* We do not need any other mediator—Jesus alone is sufficient.
It is also vital to remember that our authority and access to the Father come *only* through the name of Jesus. You rightly ended your request with "in Jesus' name," and we commend you for that. However, we want to encourage you to direct your prayers solely to the Father, through Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, healed, and delivered. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."*
Now, let us address the darkness you are facing. The attacks of the enemy are real, but so is the victory we have in Christ. Ephesians 6:10-18 reminds us to put on the full armor of God so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. You are not powerless—you are a child of God, and *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, so we encourage you to speak His name boldly in your times of struggle. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Clothe yourself in the truth of God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit and your most powerful weapon.
Let us pray for you now with the authority and confidence we have in Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with Your blood-stained banner of love and victory. Rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm, oppress, or discourage them. Let every lie, fear, and accusation of the devil be silenced by the truth of Your Word.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their strength and mind, and let them walk in the confidence of their identity in Christ. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We pray for a fresh infilling of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Break every chain of darkness in their life and set them free to walk in the light of Your love.
Lord, we also ask that You expose any area in their life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Convict them by Your Spirit if there is any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise with the world, and give them the courage to repent and turn fully to You. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience, for Your Word tells us that submission to You is our greatest weapon against the devil (James 4:7).
Father, we thank You that You have already won the victory through Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is an overcomer, and the enemy has no authority over them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of darkness to flee and be bound. Let Your light shine brightly in their life, dispelling all shadows of fear and doubt.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Amen.

We want to encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture daily, for it is your spiritual nourishment and weapon. Psalm 119:105 says, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."* Spend time in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers, for there is strength in unity (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be supported by a community of believers.
If you feel overwhelmed, remember that Jesus is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23). Do not hesitate to cry out to Him in your distress—He hears you, and He is faithful. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of salvation in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater victory than knowing Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have any doubts or questions about your relationship with Him, we encourage you to seek Him earnestly, for He promises that those who seek Him will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).
We are standing with you in this battle, and we believe that the Lord will bring you through to victory. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and do not lose heart. We will continue to pray for you and ask that you let us know how we can further support you. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
