We are deeply concerned to hear about your suffering and the severity of your illness. It is never easy to endure such physical distress, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer, seeking God’s healing and comfort in this difficult time.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Even in moments of weakness and pain, God is near, and He hears the cries of His children. We also hold fast to James 5:14-15, which says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We believe in the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God to restore health according to His will.
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from this severe illness. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon them, bringing relief from the nausea, strength to their body, and restoration to their health. Father, we know that sickness is not Your desire for us, and we trust in Your promise to deliver us from affliction. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and grant them the assurance of Your presence in this trial. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life that needs to be surrendered to You, reveal it to them, Lord, so that nothing hinders Your work in their life. We declare Your healing power over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your love and comfort in this time. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical attention if you haven’t already. God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of those trained in medicine. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to reach out to your church community, elders, or trusted believers who can pray with you and support you during this time.
If this illness persists, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas in your life where you may have strayed from His will? Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Sometimes, God allows trials to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to reveal areas where we need to grow. If there is sin in your life, confess it to the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lastly, we want to remind you that your hope is found in Jesus Christ alone. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus or if you have wandered from Him, now is the time to turn back. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is available to you right now. We pray that you would experience the fullness of God’s love and healing, both spiritually and physically.
We will continue to pray for you and ask that you keep us updated on your condition. May the Lord bless you with His peace, strength, and restoration.
